It has been a while since I started this sketchbook and I am 100% wanting to move onto a new one!

Ahhhhh I love all of your sketches! Back in 2022 I bought an Ike print of yours after discovering NijiEN through your fanart, and discovering my oshis really changed my life in so many amazing ways, so I can never stop thanking you enough for your amazing work and creativity as well! I’m hoping to get one of your notebooks since I missed out one of the past sales times, and it would be wonderful to draw and use mine for my concept work as a game writer. Please keep drawing all of the things you love! It’s always inspiring and refreshing to see your fanart and your beloved OCs!
I haven't really watched your videos in a while (just trying to spend less time on TH-cam in general, nothing personal), but when I learned you had a new sketchbook tour out, girl, I came RUNNING, haha! I love your sketchbooks, they're always super inspiring! I love it how you use different media and how you're not afraid to mix notes and planning in between pretty, well-planned spreads. It's refreshing to see someone using a sketchbook to actually sketch instead of trying to make every single page a masterpiece, you know?
Thank you so much! I am glad to hear that some people don't mind that I have scribbles and notes here and there in my sketchbook! I am also trying to allow myself to not get too hung up on the "aesthetic" of each page so im glad there are some pages that are a bit messy!

i freaking love sketchbook tours don't worry about it seeming too long!! it's a lot of stuff to cover 🥰 Your character spreads are so freaking cute and fun!!! But also 2 things i feel like I have to rave about extra hard is 1. the way your gouache looks is so lovely and rich looking!! at 16:30 I was so shook bc the studies look so wonderfullll aaaaahh and then 2. your inking?? hatching?? the way you work with pen is sooooo incredibleeee and inspiring i love it so much 😭I also enjoy seeing all the little sticky notes and planning bc it feels like a cool behind the scenes on everything hehe. There's so much more I could say but i'd rather not leave essay in the comments 💀

Thank you Raea! Even though I still struggle with gouache, I am glad you like them🥹💕 And I guess the inking practice is slowly showing a bit of progress haha. Thank you for always being so freaking lovely🍀💕

Awwe thank you! I am planning on making an updated video about making a similiar one pretty soon! (I have been working on making one of all of my Oshis!) But I do have a video about a similar process of making a LIVE Wallpaper called " Let's Make A LIVE Wallpaper!" on my channel ~

17:00 Sorry if this is a dumb question but what is a Zeen? I really want to know because you talk a lot about the flower Zeen you want to do for your oc's and I want to know what I'm so excited for lol
Not a dumb question at all~ Zine (similar to a magazine) is similar to a small book containing a collection of art/text! At this point I think people use zine in place of any kind of fanbook or artbook! Usually they are made in smaller batches with smaller amount of pages compared to some artbooks that artists may sell. So for me, I want to make a small collection of illustrations, studies, comics, doodles into a small book! :) I have made two fanzines in the past that were about 30-40 pages! Just a personal project I want to make with original art instead of fanart this time around~ Hope this helps a bit! And thank you for the support and excitement despite not knowing! I think thats super sweet 🥹💕

What are the markers that aren’t causing a bleed through? I am in dire need of them
The markers mostly in this sketchbook are waterbased markers! They are streaky though! But the ones that i mostyle use for colour in this sketchbook are the magicfly dual tipped markers/fineliners. The 100 pack!

How do u get these not to smudge? 😢
Also what markers do you use? And where to find these?😮
The fully blended spreads are done with Ohuhu Alcohol Markers. The other spreads are coloured with waterbased markers. I use mostly the Magicfly dual tip fineliner/brush pens!
As for smudging, i keep a sheet of scrap paper in between the pages where there is graphite! Then the further i get into the sketchbook i remove the papers as i find they smudge and imprint more when you are pressing ontop of the pages almost directly! Hope that makes sense!🍀
