I was there. The girl that is overwhelmed at the beginning of the clip had just given a gift to Bruce. It looked to me (seeing it on the big screens) that it was as a little Springsteen doll. Maybe she had made it herself.
Bruce is not only a great entertainer, but he's also a very clever guy. Who else can get fans to pay a fortune for tickets & then get them to sing your songs for you as well, lol?
