You can always determine that from the final king position actually. If both kings end up on the central light square (e4 and d5) White won. If both kings end up on the central dark squares (d4 and e5) Black won. If they end up on different coloured central squares the game is a draw. :)
I Don't like when the opponent moves his and nervously all above the board, put a piece on a square with his hand covering it, you start thinking of it while you try to Watch out over his hand, and then put it on an other square, you have to adapt quicly yourself to the new move and also verify that it isn't illegal, especially disgracefull in zeitnot.
