This song reminds me of the worst time of my life when my now husband had broken up with me. I've never get such pain before or since. I'm grateful to The Most High for bringing us back together and I'll never take him for granted ever again. I don't know if either of us could express the love we have for each other if we had not experienced that time of separation, but I always make it a point to unload my heart to my love on a regular basis so he always knows how deeply I love him.
Dropped my girl of 4 years after a rough month together so that I could find out what I really wanted. During the 2 month period we spent apart she realized she deserved better and moved on. It kills me inside to know that I let someone who cared so much from me slip through my fingers. She was my best friend and now she is gone. Please don’t take someone’s love for granted. I wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy.
I hope a particular Joey I know will feel like you feel about me. He broke my heart saying he has no time for a relationship because of work. Yet, five years ago he had the same job and made 5 years worth of time for another woman. I tried to point that out but he said something like ‘that was 5 years ago. And, we don’t have history together or kid’ as if he did not just hurt me. A month of being together and I knew him since I was 14. He’s 59 and I’m 48. He said he likes me very much and will be a friend I can count on. We should wait to see what happens. Unbelievably painful. Had to pray a lot and I settled for friendship through texts and sometimes visiting his food shop for food, which he provides free while I trade a gift or two for him or for his granddaughter. We have different religions also. Maybe that turned him a bit off since I cannot do all he would have liked to do. God guide and help us. I really have wished for a miracle. But, I ask God to let me know what to do because I have been in a very lengthy, hurtful marriage and am not use to someone doing what Joey did so quickly.
Pathetic experiences. The lesson learnt is don’t take what you got for granted. You will never know it’s actual worth till it’s gone. Tony Rich will always be one of my favorite artists. His way of pouring out emotions is so touching.

Yeah same. Because this song came out when my parents were teenagers and if it wasnt for this song i wouldnt be here.so what happened is my parents were teens and married. And they got into a fight and seperated for awhile and then after a few months my grandma( my dads mom) went over to talk to my mom anf told her she needs to talk to him cuz he hasnt really spoke or eaten for the past few months. And he stays up all night starin at his wall. And so of course she went and talked to him. And the radio just happened to be playin When my ask my dad how he felt about her. But my didnt know how to explain it and then this song started playin and my dad got up and turned up the volume and said "listen to this" and my mom did and now they together and because of that song im here .😊😊😊😊 So yeah this song means a lot to me

I actually just got back with my girl of 4 years, after a huge fight that had us sleeping away from each other, but I still couldn't help listening to songs like this.
