The reason for the unnatural wave as you said you didn’t like the look of it is because from experience you need that clear strip of resin separating the mixed blue resin and your white. You can see the white and blue bleed into each other causing a bright blue and also with the clear strip with the white dropped on the front, it will travel much further and get more cells and lacing.
