      @@hennybutabi okay too bad. I would really love if you had the time to make a basic tutorial on how to connect a hubmotor to a motor controller. I'm a newbie but I am really interested in learning this stuff, it's so cool. Just can't seem to find any tutorials on here. As I understand, i need the following to make an electric scooter run. Battery,motor controller, hubmotor and a throttle. Do I miss something. And if you don't have the time to make a video, can you recommend a website where I can learn ? Where did you learn ? :) THank you.

      Hello. In short you will need 1 controller per motor. There are plenty of videos on youtube on how to wire them, its not that hard. Check out tchangly21 channel, plenty of info there, however all is in french. I learned through google and youtube :)

    I've been building my own scooter like yours. I got a 1000 watt brushless motor on it. But man all the welding I've done it is heavy. Not sure if you'll respond or not but how much does yours weigh? Mines not done yet but almost...but it's already 53 lbs . Is yours heavy like that too?

    • @hennybutabi
      @hennybutabi  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Mine is around 35kg which is 77lbs. But I'm not a heavy guy so it does not matter so much. And based on my experience with my other builds, a scooter drives better when it's heavier. Good luck with yours. Check out the other electric scooters I built on my channel.

      @hennybutabi  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think this setup is too weak for a gokart. Topspeed is around 35km/h. Torque at starting speed is ok for a scooter is a heavy gokart I think it will be dissapointing

Going 100mph/160kmh while being on a wheelbase length of only 1 meter and being driven by such small diameter wheels (i must also mention the high center of mass) is a fatal accident waiting to happen!

    Using this scooter for short commutes is the way to go, as it makes it really fun. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxvyNuxpWiHTNypxG6nyqyf7ywc7Q16PDM Both the levels of speed it allows you to use are very fun, though 20mph can get pretty scary on bad roads. It makes a cool electric sound as it is accelerating. The battery life is also pretty impressive, as I can go anywhere around me within a ~10 mile radius and back home with a full charge. I expected the tires to feel somewhat like a toy, but it is legit, and has pretty good grip on surfaces. Braking on this scooter is also really fun, since you can even do a little drifting if you break hard. The wheels on the scooter are definitely very high quality, as they are wide and well sized. The entire scooter is pretty high quality too. I have fallen on it a couple times because I was being a little reckless, and the scooter still works perfectly fine, with some minor scratches on the sides. I found the brake lights to be very cool as well, since they flash when you brake.

    1) аккумуляторы слабые, 2) большой вес рамы, 3) тормозные машины установлены снизу, а не сверху, 4) очень слабые контроллеры моторов.
