MAIL-3 at CP Belt in the AM, drive up to Bethlehem Steel yard (was quiet), then more hump action at Allentown. Spring of 1988. We loved trekking up to Allentown + Yocco's hot dogs for lunch.
Great video; I love seeing how it was way back when. I was 28 then! Just think of all the jobs eliminated when Bethlehem closed down. Factory jobs, rail;road jobs, coal industry jobs and on and on just so we could have China make it and send it here by slowboat! What used to be railroad cars filled with American made stuff is now filled with Chinese crap.
