I hope there’ll be another One Direction album bc they have changed so much over the break, they’ve been happier and healthier and themselves. Their vocals have improved so much and I don’t know how. I will always love 1D together as a band, but I love their solo music so much because they get to freely express their individual styles and skills. I personally am a Harry super fan (don’t worry I love them all so so much) and I feel like he had a great majority of the solos in 1D and seeing more of what the others can bring to the table. I am 16, & I grew up Idolizing the boys, i bought their merch. Every time i could, my family knew how much I loved them & they would get me more one direction stuff for Christmas/ my birthday......my walls used to be pictures from one Direction, sometimes from magazines, posters from the stores, or sometimes I would rip out pictures from their albums and hang them up, some of them are still currently up along with the dolls..... even though i was only 9 or 10 at the time, just listening to there music made me a happy child. I am upset that they each went there own ways but im also happy for them because they are each doing their own style now, they will forever be my favorite boys, whether they are together or not. Hopefully they make one last tour so I can go see them this time!

me too when i was younger i saw 1d on icarly and loved them so much then after a month or so I started thinking about how much older than me they are and what my friends would think so i stopped listening to them for a LONG TIME I didn't even care about their tours or anything so just last summer the night changes music video showed up in my recommended videos SO I WATCHED IT! and i loved! it so I watched all their other videos, and videos people took of them at concerts and now I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO GO TO A 1D CONCERT ! it hurts to know I wasted my life watching CRAP when I could of been at one of the concerts. I definitely agree that you don’t need Merch or posters to prove that you love a band or a celebrity, just your love and support is enough and honesty I feel like one direction will get back together even if it’s not for another few years they will probably do a reunion tour with mitam and about their solo music I’m not going to say that I love it more then their music in 1D but I do honestly listen to their solo music a lot more then the bands music but it’s all amazing music. Hi Megan! Thanks for making this video, I agree with everything you said. Once I got a bit older I took down my 1D stuff but I still loved them and stood by them 100%. I hate when people make comments because yes I still love them I just don't have as much of their stuff around anymore (its packed away, i could never throw it away). And I honestly believe that they will reunite in some way, especially to do the MITAM songs. They all keep saying they will come back so I keep hoping for it. As weird as it may sound, this break with the band surprisingly has changed me a lot. I feel as though I’ve grown up so much too. I still have my posters up, but before this hiatus, I was always so caught up in 1D that it took up so much of my time because they were doing so much all the time with little to no breaks. But now that they aren’t constantly touring and producing music as much, it’s given me a lot of time to not only live my own life, but to also think things through as far as being a fan of 1D. Yes, I still love one direction (and always will) and if they ever got back together, even if it’s for only one tour or album, I’d be over the moon. But I also really love their solo stuff, as like you said Megan, it’s given us so many options and has let us hear the voices of Niall and Louis that we never really heard in 1D and even some voices in Harry, Liam, and Zayn that were also never show. And I’ve also come to accept that there is a chance that they may never get back together. I’m at peace with the possibility. I’ve learned to take life as it comes and if they get back together or not, then so be it. I guess in a way, the boys have grown and learned a lot from this break, and so have I

I genuinely believe they will be back. It's not just that I want them to be back, I think that they left it to in the air for one direction to end and it doesn't feel like the end , "this is not the end" They won't just end it and the fact that two years into the hiatus and we are still constantly talking about them shows they are not over.
I will never stop loving them!! I also think they will do another tour, and while I would LOVE another album, I don't think it will ever be like it was. That saddens me, because I joined the fandom after the hiatus. Honestly, all the one direction boys are really good artists and put on great shows but, I don’t believe they could be as good as one direction shows. They were just filled with so much energy and fun and they were so interactive and solo artists can’t do that. You know?

I feel the exact way! I’m 21 almost 22 and growing up but I will still always love the boys and support them. Even if it isn’t obsessing over them like I did when I was 15
i was a five year old in kindergarten when i started liking one direction so that made me a really young fan. ( btw the picture is from three years ago) My sister was in seventh grade at the time so it is understandable to see how i became obsessed with them bc of her. We went to every one direction tour, almost met them all at a meet and greet, had every merch, had fan accounts, and did everything to support them. We just met Niall and have already gone to four solo concerts. Seven years later we are still supporting them. I am a seventh grader and my sister is in her second year of high school. We grew up just like them. I accept their new music and who they have become; we miss them as a band but they did need a break. I think everyone can tell the boys changed a lot since they went on break so I can see why everyone says "I miss them." I am looking forward for them to get back together but i say just enjoy them enjoying their selves and their music. :)

I remember taking my posters of my room... It was half Justin Bieber and half 1D, I was crying my heart out when I did that but yeah it's like a step you take out of your childhood, you just grow up. I'm, 20 and turning 21 in august and Last saturday i saw Harry in Madrid and I couldn't believe how proud i am of him, he is such a rockstar. Then it's Niall that I'm seeing in two months and the rest of the boys, they have amazing music which makes me kinda sad and makes me wonder if they would ever want to come back knowing that as solo artists they have this huge success. I've been feeling homesick, like they are my life, they represent my childhood and I grew up with them. They got old, we got old and things have changed for all of us but that bond will always still there... I really hope they get back soon and make a tour... Love you Megan, your videos save me 💕

I joined the fandom when they split back in 2016. I always knew about them but I was too young to actually understand and listen to their music. It was kinda weird when I started liking them cuz like they weren’t together anymore and were on a break and what was the meaning behind me joining the fandom when there is really no band, ya feel me? But I still did. I watched their old videos and music which made me love them more and more. Their solo careers are making me cry (in a cool way) and I’m just speechless. I don’t have much merch or posters, but that’s okay because as long as you support them and like their music then you don’t need merch. Ok so how I honestly feel about One Direction is I still love them so so much. Them being solo doesn’t affect my love for them and it shouldn’t for anyone else. It’s hard to survive a hiatus with them being together for over 5 years, but their solo music is amazing so we’re okay. I honestly do believe that they’ll come back together in a few years and it’s going to be amazing. They’ve honestly grown so much in the two-three years of the break and once they come back, they’ll show those changes and I just can’t wait. Also, I really think they’ll tour as well because MITAM is an amazing album and they’ll definitely want to perform it live. I’m struggling with my parents constantly telling me that they’re never getting back together, but I’m not listening to them because they’ve promised us and they never break promises. Honestly, all the one direction boys are really good artists and put on great shows but, I don’t believe they could be as good as one direction shows. They were just filled with so much energy and fun and they were so interactive and solo artists can’t do that. You know?
My opinion is: That I still love One Direction and I love their solo music but I miss them as a band.. I hope They come back soon and it Will be amazing cuz then we can see how much They grew up. I'm 14..turning 15 soon and have one direction stuff in my room and 1D as solo artists too

I loved 1D as a band and I love them as solo artists I've loved them since the xf days and I was only 15/16 I'm now 22! I used to have posters all over the walls too & totally agree that you don't need to own all their merch to prove you're a directioner just supporting them means so much to them

I feel the exact way! I’m 21 almost 22 and growing up but I will still always love the boys and support them. Even if it isn’t obsessing over them like I did when I was 15
i was a five year old in kindergarten when i started liking one direction so that made me a really young fan. ( btw the picture is from three years ago) My sister was in seventh grade at the time so it is understandable to see how i became obsessed with them bc of her. We went to every one direction tour, almost met them all at a meet and greet, had every merch, had fan accounts, and did everything to support them. We just met Niall and have already gone to four solo concerts. Seven years later we are still supporting them. I am a seventh grader and my sister is in her second year of high school. We grew up just like them. I accept their new music and who they have become; we miss them as a band but they did need a break. I think everyone can tell the boys changed a lot since they went on break so I can see why everyone says "I miss them." I am looking forward for them to get back together but i say just enjoy them enjoying their selves and their music. :)

I remember taking my posters of my room... It was half Justin Bieber and half 1D, I was crying my heart out when I did that but yeah it's like a step you take out of your childhood, you just grow up. I'm, 20 and turning 21 in august and Last saturday i saw Harry in Madrid and I couldn't believe how proud i am of him, he is such a rockstar. Then it's Niall that I'm seeing in two months and the rest of the boys, they have amazing music which makes me kinda sad and makes me wonder if they would ever want to come back knowing that as solo artists they have this huge success. I've been feeling homesick, like they are my life, they represent my childhood and I grew up with them. They got old, we got old and things have changed for all of us but that bond will always still there... I really hope they get back soon and make a tour... Love you Megan, your videos save me 💕

I joined the fandom when they split back in 2016. I always knew about them but I was too young to actually understand and listen to their music. It was kinda weird when I started liking them cuz like they weren’t together anymore and were on a break and what was the meaning behind me joining the fandom when there is really no band, ya feel me? But I still did. I watched their old videos and music which made me love them more and more. Their solo careers are making me cry (in a cool way) and I’m just speechless. I’m so proud of them and I’ll never ever leave this fandom and stop loving one direction. They mean the world to me. And I love you too Megan, your videos make me laugh and they make me happy. I think the same as you.. In a near future they'll do a tour for MITAM because of all the comments they've said in previous interviews. If I remember well, Liam said something like 'it was such a great album and I regret that we didn't perfomed it'.

i’m am new to the fandom (i joined 3 months ago). But i still love them more than anything. Just because i joined later it doesn’t mean that they don’t mean the world to me, the do. Ok so how I honestly feel about One Direction is I still love them so so much. Them being solo doesn’t affect my love for them and it shouldn’t for anyone else. It’s hard to survive a hiatus with them being together for over 5 years, but their solo music is amazing so we’re okay. I honestly do believe that they’ll come back together in a few years and it’s going to be amazing. They’ve honestly grown so much in the two-three years of the break and once they come back, they’ll show those changes and I just can’t wait. Also, I really think they’ll tour as well because MITAM is an amazing album and they’ll definitely want to perform it live. I’m struggling with my parents constantly telling me that they’re never getting back together, but I’m not listening to them because they’ve promised us and they never break promises. So yeah that’s how I honestly feel. My parents may be a barrier, but I’m about to be two years away from 18 so I’ll be free soon. And then they’ll be nobody to stop me from loving these boys.
