If you are shortlisted for interview remember to prepare very hard for it. There's no illegal measures there. And its gonna be pure merit. If u don't know about aircraft no problem. However, be confident. Show them that you have that attitude and composure that's required in emergency and you'll be miles ahead of other candidates. If you are lucky you'll get the offer letter. There you will sign a bond that you'll serve CAA for 10 years. If you leave your job before 10 years you'll pay 25 lakh to CAA. Thereafter you'll undergo a thorough medical. You will pay for that. Remember: YOU MUST NOT BE COLORBLIND OR YOU'RE OUT EVEN IF YOU WERE TOPPER OF YOUR BATCH. One or two months later your training shall start in Hyderabad. That would be of 40 weeks. Accomodation would be free. You'll pay for the mess. You'll be trained for three streams of controlling that are Tower, Area(enroute) and approach. It would be a mix of theory and lab. You'll have to score 70% in all exams to pass. Labs are where you would be simulating live traffic and practice controlling. After 40 weeks you will be posted to one of the three stations. Karachi,Lahore or Islamabad. There you'll start on job training and then will become a licensed contoller. There are five areas of expertise and each area require a "rating" that you need to get to be able to work there. With each rating you get an increment of 20%. Promotions are good. Salary is good. Job is going to be rotational with one morning, one afternoon and one night shift followed by two days of holiday.
