Royal Enfield 350 Pros & Cons Details -
Pros -
Build Quality - These machines last way longer than the 100 to 200 cc bikes due to its extremely good built-quality. These can last up to 30 years easily, if maintained well.
Ride Quality - Heavier; these will provide unmatchable highway stability. This includes extreme windy and wet conditions. Additionally, even at 90kms/hr.; you won't feel you are lightweight and are losing traction.
Ride Quality - These have excellent low end torque; the ride will have unforgettable and lasting pleasant impact on the rider.
Good re-sale value - You will get good value for your bullet/bike when you sale it & many riders are ready to buy it.
X Factor - You will get respect on highways and even on the cities( i.e. if ridden responsibly of-course) . No other bike than bullet has a good street presence.
Cons -
Common problems - Some bullets are essentially based on simple mechanical principals; therefore they have not evolved much. These may( or may not) require frequent visits to mechanic for common niggles. There are some universal problems in all bullets e.g. engines oil/gear box oil leaks, common electrical problems malfunctions in turning indicators/console problems, frequent wear and tear of break shoe to name a few.( Though my personal experience of riding a bullet for 10 years has been extremely good.)
Ride Quality - These vibrate a lot.
User friendliness - Weigh a little extra; therefore it may or may not be always easy to ride on busy city streets.
Mileage - although when one is buying a bullet, he/she should not think about it. A good 125 cc engine will consume 1 ltr. of petrol per 60-70 km. But a best 350 cc bullet engines will go 35 to 45 kms in a litre.
Service issues - The bullet mechanics are all specialists, and they are very few compared to the mechanics of all other bikes. Everyone else will not touch the Bullets. Additionally, the spare parts are a tad expensive.( e.g. the break liner will cost you anything between 280 to 400; where as break liner of Honda Unicorn will cost you 160) . Bullets have definitely higher maintenance cost.

Advantages :
1) bike looks awesome, no other bike like this.
2) rider feels a status of owning bullet.
3) unique sound and appeal.
Disadvantages :
1) too costly for the features they provide.
2) bike vibration above the speed of 80
3) no new features like new bikes
4) wiring and battery is always a problem for royal enfield.
5) co. Nowadays uses cheap quality spares as compared to 10 years back Royal Enfield.
6) riding experience in other bikes is better in other bikes.
7) bike doesn't start without battery
8) name bcoz of the name of old bullet.
better options are Benelli, Jawa, or buy old bullet. But all like royal enfield more.

the bike is a retro bike. If it had added more features and heaped on all those gimmicks it loses it's character and personality. The retro theme is why Royal Enfields are loved across the planet and why they're the best sellers in Europe and UK. I've never faced a wiring or battery issue with RE. Plenty others for sure but not wiring. The parts are still good quality. Infact vibrations have been almost completely fixed in the new bikes the company has made PLENTY of updates. They have updated their entire platform on which the new bikes are based. You obviously have no idea about royal enfields
This is a bike of different categories so we cannot expect high pickup or very high speed, but in this class in my opinion this is a iron horse....which you need to maintain properly....nice informative video

You would not get instant pick up from the engine, but you will surely get a surge of torque, it can pull at any gear, at even speeds like 40, it can pull it im 5th gear. The pick up is less, but the pick up does not decrease on inclines as for the hug2 torque figure. In other bikes, however they may be very fast, but the drop in pickup is visible on inclines. And the pick up is also not very less, it's a bit less. So on pick up point of view, it's a win lose situation, lose on pick up, win on grunt. And another thing, 120kph for a bike costing 1.80 lakhs(rough estimate) is not very less. Other bikes at that price such as duke or r15 tops at 130-140, so the difference is not much. And the speed is less because it ets a under square lomg stroke engine, revvs are less but grunt is solid. So don't think that you are compromising on performance, you are losing a bit of speed and pick up for super strong grunt, which I think is not a bad deal at all. 40kmpl for a 350cc unit is more than enough. Treat a RE like a RE, you would never get disappointed. Good luck to all

U missed the main benefit of owning a RE. RE's service network...no one can match
No one should expect speed or pickup in a bullet. Because this is not a sport lightweight bike but a real classic long ride bike. Those who want heavy, royal and real bikes go with RE. Its 80's speed and elegance is something different. Don't think about mileage. This is the bike of generations. 'Agar aap maintain kare, toh aapke bacche bhi ishe ishtemaal kar sakte hai' is Bullet guru ke baat mein dum hai!💪

I am getting 45-48 kmpl..riding with a stock silencer.It is a long stroke engine.So it explains the lazy pickup. RE is a cruiser bike. So do not expect acceleration like a KTM Duke.

The worst part is the tank quality....i replaced twice in 5 years. The fuel pumpbis very delicate and replacement cost 15k. Starting the bike is a big issue.
I took test drive of new standard and I felt heat in thighs. Please make a video on heating issue and kick absence in new bullet. If battery gets discharged then it can be a big issue.

Bro buy pure black (or) gun metal grey in alloy model with (dual disc and dual channel abs) .Also bychance if you buy spokes wheel model the alignment will not be proper .Better if you buy alloy version .
