Goosebumps indeed!!!... Lisa Bluder is the instigator of pure magic. And she's more than a coach. She's an educator. She's a developer of human hearts and minds. You can see it by the magic she produces on the court with her teams. It's like I enjoyed her press conferences as much as the game. At every press conference, you could just feel the heart and love that she and her staff are pouring into this game.
I found myself utterly captivated by Iowa this season, and I live 1,900 miles from Iowa City. I grew up in a family that discussed college sports at the dinner table practically every night. In recent years I've become rather jaded about college sports (a tendency that very much goes against my nature). But that all changed -- like a miracle, and for the better -- because of Lisa Bluder and Kate Martin and Monika Czinano and Gabby Marshall and McKenna Warnock and Caitlin Clark. Words can't describe the anticipation for next season.

Lisa had a great run at Drake University. Success she has met and exceeded at Iowa.
I would have liked her to pause (when talking about the move to Iowa) and talk about what those Drake years mean/meant to her.

I’m predominately a Alabama college football fan but I love watching Iowa’s women basketball. The Iowa’s women’s basketball team is the only program that realizes that they have the opportunity to grow the game. They pay respect to the ones that came before them, and encourage and uplift the next generation of athletes. I don’t feel that coming from any college sport.
The Iowa’s women basketball team is a shining example of a team that truly loves one another and Caitlin Clark’s success is also an example of team success.

They get a lot of players from Illinois, currently four on the team!
