Great job, man! 🎉 I’m playing Spyro ETD again thanks to your amazing work. It feels like a whole new game now. 😍 You’ve truly done justice to a game that was sadly notorious for its technical issues. If I may, I have a few small suggestions for further improvements that could make the experience even better: - change the 25-gem color from yellow to magenta for better visual distinction; - speed up the Sparx's gem-grabbing animation to improve the gameplay flow; - add the hop sound effect when Spyro performs continuous charge jumps; - move the cutscene where Ripto gets angry at Crush and Gulp to right after the second opening cinematic. This would improve the story flow and give more context early on. Thanks again for all the effort you’ve put into this. It’s truly appreciated by fans like me. 😊
The charge jump sfx is something we wanted to add since the start but there's no way to get it playing in game exactly like it does in the trilogy without modifying core engine source code, I don't think sparx speed can be adjusted right now either. Work is still ongoing and remaining big changes that aren't doable yet will take time to figure out.
@@FreezyTD Yes, he disappears on re-entry to Dragonfly Dojo to be consistent with how he behaves in Spyro 3. Though, most of these Skill Points can be gotten regardless of level completion.
@@YouMissedAgainTimes32024Not yet, that unused line is meant to happen in Dragon Realms - I may get it working eventually. But he wouldn’t be able to return any gems to the player.
@@MultiOwyn Whilst there is an unused function for moneybags to give the player gems it doesn’t function. Gems maximum limits are hardcoded and the way the atlas counts the gems acts as if Moneybags never took gems to begin with.
@@MultiOwyn It would require having the full game source code or modifying internal data & hoping it doesn’t mess anything else up which would be extremely tedious & something I cannot do.
@@thebubsy3dgamer Yeah lol, there’s a couple like that & I did this knowingly. They aren’t required nor unlock anything so I felt it didn’t matter if some were missable - I may tweak this in a future release when I implement additional Skill Points.
Nice to see a definitive edition version of a game incorporate unused dialogue too.
@@NanaKyoto Yes! Many unused dialogue files have been restored where applicable as well as various other forms of unused content.

My reaction to the first skill point: Good
YESSS I HAVE BEEN WAITING AND IT HAS PAID OFF, THANK YOU!!!
Hey skill points look pretty cool! 👍
Glad I was able to find all of them before this video! (with maybe a couple hints here and there)
Those skill points in Spyro enter the dragonfly are cool.😎☺️
That's very nice 👍🏻
Awesome stuff!
If get skill points to unlock something in the future, make sure to keep Moneybags permanently in Dragonfly Dojo
Perfectly Perfect 🥰
These are awesome 😃❤😄
The first one’s the best 😂
The last one looks brutal lol.
Oh no moneybags is gone :(

@@MrFO1Did you place Moneybags anywhere outside Dragonfly Dojo so he can say his unused line talking about gold?

@@MrFO1 I'm fine with that, maybe you can put a fake level complete tally with a fanfare to show you the gems he gave you back
What if you can get a refund from Moneybags after defeating Ripto the first time?

@MrFO1 Can you fix that?

@MrFO1 Why? How hard can it be?

Heck naw, there's a permanently missable skill point--
