This whirlpool shaped like a bowl it is 22m wide and 5.2 m deep. The rainwater is recycled bank to the Whirlpool and fills a canal inside to the mall. At top stream rates, there are 30,000 liters per minute falling through the chamber and 200 tons of water whirling around within the bowl. Extensive prototyping and engineering went into integrating the artwork into the structural and mechanical systems of the building. Completed in 2011.Rain oculus designed by the artist Ned Kahn as well as architect Moshie Safdie. The pumps that coordinate water into the bowl are turned on and off sometimes an hour so the whirlpool is continuously changing in shape and escalated. One interesting thing about rain oculus is to Go near the rim and say something..wait before that get your friend to run to the opposite end of it and your voice he can hear clearly this feature will amplify your voice. Sampan (a Chinese flat-bottomed wood boat ) rides.
