I like the 3D printed blocks but I would use them backwards. Make the blocks the same with the lip and the same sizes, just make them wider. That was before every new pass you can mark where the blade needs to be on the next cut. Set the lip of the block on the wood, draw a line, rinse and repeat. Hope that makes sense.

Why did you stop milling when you still needed more lumber. You said you had a ton of logs out in the log yard.
I’m so confused. First Danner said he wanted to mill some logs. Then he said they can’t get anything out of the wood. (Weird grammar though. It sounded like they “get can’t”). Then they did anyway. 🤷♂️ 😂
