I watched this video and got charged. I practiced under the full moon for two hours last night. You have me lookin good Sifu !! Im looking forward to learning more with you💪
So that is the "zig zag stepping" that one of the yellow emperors men used in battle. ( when Kung Fu was first used in battle ) WOW ! I couldn't see the trees for the forest getting in the way. That is really interesting, take the 3 sectional away and you have empty hand technique. I've only thought on the staff exercises.
I like the 3 sectional staff except for the chains are so noisy! 😋 when someone asked my Sifu , "Aren't you suppose to teach solid weapons first, then flexable?" He goes, " Oh nooo, " with a big smile, " I teach the flexable weapons first and then the solid weapons. Once you get good at the flexable ones, then the solid are that much more easy to learn. 😀" FOR THOSE GETTING STARTED IN MARTIAL ARTS OR... IN TEACHING ( traditional or professional...One that advertises and has a "store front" school.) My Sifu in the 1980's would get depressed for he was a "traditional teacher" just trying to get by (He taught in 1/2 of a 2 car garage). Then he noticed that some Masters in China had a wooden dummy (Muk Jeung) in their living room and moved the coffee table so they could teach class. Now he is in Ohio, USA teaching in a simple, but nice looking school ( Kwoon ). He has traveled to China several times and studys with a Master there, he was going again with his students this year ( until the virus hit ). It took time and he is now doing very well. He always was an excellant teacher ( Sifu ). Don't get discouraged ... you are like a piece of coal that is slowly being pressed over time turning into a diamond.
So I used to bounce between Law, Bryan Fury, and Lee a lot. Law was my go to when I really wanted to win, Bryan was just solid, and I liked the finesse of Lee's kicks but recently, I've been getting attached to Kazumi, I hope she makes it into the next game 😅
Hi Sifu, I am teaching in Genève, Suisse. I have another playlist with 3 Section Staff Techniques th-cam.com/play/PLB_2FAZlJ_bdkFOT_qLVoqDFNKekvYBPG.html
