Yep, a big round of applause to Bethesda for making so much god damn money off of Skyrim and not putting any of it towards upgrading the existing engine or switching to a better one. An 8 year old engine that wasn't good to start with, no matter how shiny you make it, how much you upgrade it, it's still going to be shit. Plus Bethesda can't be bothered to make a new animation system and just expect the modders to do it for them.

I think it’d be cooler if, instead of running, he simply walked toward you- but you can’t get away. No matter how long you run, he never loses aggro. He will walk toward you forever and ever until you die or he dies.
Or he takes very long inhuman steps once he aggros but he draws you in with the freindly sounding song at first before doing maybe an animation like a deathclaw and throwing you

If only it had its own animations that made it kinda slow and lumbering like some tortured starving thing, but made it all savage and desperate when attacking as though it would finally have a meal. Have the sounds get more distorted and frantic as it gets damaged or attacks and give it an area of effect with a chance to cripple your head rather than just attacking your head. Maybe have them stuck in loops of some horrifically distorted part of their announcements when killed for a while. As if Fallout 4 could do all of this.

Imagine how scary siren head would be in its own updated game, and actually recorded sounds of you through your microphone and randomly played it back to you. edit: I've also heard of games that mess with your desktop and find your name and suddenly use it in the game, only little horror games made by small indie devs but still weird.
