why is no one talking about how literally perfect this is??? I thought this was official art or smth, the amount of detail istg I could never. also am I seeing things or did they literally ink perfectly without a sketch- I'm losing my mind over this it's so perfect send help (to everyone calling this whitewashing I will literally hurt you emotionally it's dough artist can interpret the dough however sheesh)
You'll soon be able to do that if you have learned the anatomy of a human body, I'm not that good just yet but before I used to put so much details when sketching how my poses are gonna be, but now it's just 1 line and a few shapes and I can already see how my poses are gonna go
Cool art. But Why did he have to make every cookie that has a darker dough color either very light skin (latte, GOLDEN CHEESE) or just ashy... Its not "just the lighting" because i can colorpick every other color and its the same as in the sprite. Its not that hard to use the eyedrop tool to get the color
@Quaxer well tbh kind of when people draw them this way it takes away from representation of darker skinned people and it sets the sterotype of “pale is prettier” which is really negative and destructive so yes it does, plus how hard is it to use the eyedropper and just get the color from the offical art

@@norabodora3251 speaking from an artist’s point of view, it’s harder than you’d think to directly use colour-picked colours into your own art. It often doesn’t translate well and you have to make adjustments, even when theres no drastic lighting. Not even talking about adjusting it to be lighter - for example, I can colour-pick Carrot Cookie’s skin tone from her official art and it looks (ironically) ashy and muddy, and not what dark-toned skin looks like in real life.

Cool art. But Why did he have to make every cookie that has a darker dough color either very light skin (latte, GOLDEN CHEESE) or just ashy... Its not "just the lighting" because i can colorpick every other color and its the same as in the sprite. Its not that hard to use the eyedrop tool to get the color

@Quaxer well tbh kind of when people draw them this way it takes away from representation of darker skinned people and it sets the sterotype of “pale is prettier” which is really negative and destructive so yes it does, plus how hard is it to use the eyedropper and just get the color from the offical art
@Y.K f0rEvrr what lmfao the beauty standards is pale, pale is pretty but so is dark, the difference is that pale has always been mainstream and darker skinned people never get as much representation. I have pale skin myself

@@norabodora3251 speaking from an artist’s point of view, it’s harder than you’d think to directly use colour-picked colours into your own art. It often doesn’t translate well and you have to make adjustments, even when theres no drastic lighting. Not even talking about adjusting it to be lighter - for example, I can colour-pick Carrot Cookie’s skin tone from her official art and it looks (ironically) ashy and muddy, and not what dark-toned skin looks like in real life.
