- Here is my tribute to one of my favorite artist, and major influence - Freddie Mercury. He died 20 years ago today, so I decided to arrange and record a small medley...

I started the arrangement this monday...lol so I had to find singers, arrange, record, edit etc etc in 3 days !! I think I'm good to sleep now =)

The cynical perfectionist skeptic in me wanted to hate this when I clicked the thumbnail. Then I listened. Very nice. Very interesting and the chords were very faithful to the originals. Great job!!!

Queen was my first Rock-love back in the late '70. Somewhere in the middle of "Love of My Life" I had to quit listening critically and sing along. That's about the highest praise I'm capable of giving a Queen cover.

Amazing, like velvet to my ears a great vocal range, arrangement and this is what i call music TY for this.
Oh my gosh. So many lead singers who actually have Freddy Murcury's range. I'm amazed.
And to 62Nightwalker, I don't see what being British has to do with loving Queen and hating bad rehashes. I'm American, I love Queen, and I'm sickened by poor cover music.

Just awesome! Your buddies are all fantastic singers as well. I always love your harmonies. Spot-on and beyond!!! I'm a musician and arranger (I can't sing to save my life though LOL), and I know how hard it can be to transcribe some tricky harmonization - even with profound knowledge. You it flawlessly and perform with just the right emotion! But you know this already ;-) Thumbs up!

The one part I love about "somebody to love" is when Freddie says love for the first time. It always gives me chills, and I was waiting for that in this video :( but didnt have the same effect. other than that I loved it ^.^ great tribute
