The futuristic prevalent eschatology of today is going to disappear when people hear more of this biblical and historical view of Matthew 24. Thanks

Maybe or maybe not, I tend to suspect maybe not. I tend to suspect the idea that humanity is going to bring itself to the edge of extinction unintentionally is a hard idea to shake, till we see some strong evidence to the contrary.
It is hard to believe that the catastrophes of WW 1 and 2 don't exceed the scale of destruction in Jerusalem in 70AD, but maybe the scripture is only talking about Jerusalem, not the rest of the world. I suppose one could argue that the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in 70AD is the greatest catastrophe the world will ever see v21,22.
Perhaps from Jesus point of view that is true. Maybe it is just a Jerusalem centric prophecy. I am not convinced that catastrophes are all behind us yet, sadly.
I think there are some unknown unknowns out there yet.
Nonetheless, a very valuable video, to reshape my thinking, especially interesting the inclusion of Revelation and the interpretation of Dan.9:27. The statement that "all this would happen within the lifetime of some then living" forces me to think with a different way of thinking, interesting and exciting, a freedom from old certainties.

Great Video. That said, Jesus said the 'resurrection' would happen at the 'end of the age'. What age was that?? The Mosaic Age. That ended in 70AD. Therefore the 'resurrection' happened back then as well. Look up the word 'mello'; it means 'is about to'. Paul says in Acts that 'the resurrection is about to happen'. This eschatology is called 'Full Preterism'. Grace & Peace.

One of my favorites. We need alot of "undoing" of modern thought like this.

Isn't "Jerusalem" a metaphor for the city of peace that dwells within every person? Christ came to remove the curtain that prevents us from seeing that it's spiritual, not physical. They tore down the physical temple [His physical body] and it was Resurrected the New Temple [Glorified body] which was no longer a physical representation, but a spiritual representation. The old temple [Old Man] has been crucified, and has been Resurrected into the New Temple [New Man], which is the awakening of who we Truly are, spirit beings made in Father's image and likeness. We're born first of water, the Adamic nature, but are reborn by fire, the Christ nature [Spirit Man].
As I'm better understanding the Scriptures, I see the historical events as being pictures of spiritual understanding. Christ came to show us that we're far more than physical people that only live and die in this physical realm. It goes far more than the physical eyes can see. He said that the "Kingdom of God" is within man, it's a spiritual kingdom. We keep waiting on something that's already here, and has been here the whole time... ❤

Weeping is the best this crucifixion-resurrection Greek word salad deity can do.
