🎨 DIY Acrylic contours

Hello friends!
Under each video where I use acrylic contours, I am asked the same questions - what kind of paints are they and where to buy them. Acrylic contours are paints that retain their volume after drying, most often the contours are used for spot painting and are sold in any art store. But the contours are not cheap, and most often there are not many color options in the store's assortment, so today I propose to make acrylic contours on my own. I am sure that such a replacement will not only help you save money, but also help you get one or another color and shade that you need.
For the 1st version of the contours you will need: "Liquid nails" assembly glue, acrylic varnish, greasy hand cream, dye (food dyes / colors / paints / pigments, etc.).
For the 2nd option: any 3D gel, acrylic varnish and dye.
You will also need to prepare cornetics in which the acrylic contours will be stored. They can be made from transparent flower wrapping film or from a file.
In my opinion, the contours are no worse than store contours, it is convenient to draw with them, the points are smooth and rounded. In terms of density, the contours can be varied: you can make them a little thinner for filling or a little thicker for drawing, for example, a stained-glass contour. Upon completion of the work, squeeze out a small droplet from the spout, thereby, as it were, close the contour. When you need the contour again, remove the dried droplet and, if necessary, clean the nose with a needle. The contours are stored for a long time, so they can be made in advance. After drying, all contours retain some elasticity. Such contours dry out in the same way as purchased ones, in about half an hour or an hour, but for complete drying it is better to leave the painting for a day or overnight.
