The procrastinating out of worry that it will need too much work... that's so real for me right now! I get all up in my head about how much developmental editing I need to do. But then once I get into it it's always less than I imagined and takes less time. ❤ Although some drafts have been so much of a mess. I'm glad you had a good experience with it overall and that you feel better about this piece. Looking forward to seeing what comes next for the story ❤
Seeing what you were trying to do in the first place, FOR THE WIN. Almost every project starts for a reason, and I notice every time Between the Waves starts working for you again (based on these vlogs) is when you find vivid awareness of what was motivating you. Your life has been chaotic many times before, and your life will surely get chaotic again, but the most motivated projects are like a boomerang. Fate simply cannot yeet them out of your hands. Happy new year, Kayla.
Hey Kayla, as far as planners go, I use a Common Planner from Sterling Ink, and you choose your layout, and there are 368 undated blank pages if you don't want to write every day. I find it so much more flexible. Love the vlog. ❤ Inspired to write this evening now. 😂
I can't wait to see the new plan for your book(s). I thought I'd be publishing by the end of the year but then I wrote one more plus half of one more book in a series so I'm just getting out all the ideas before I dive into that challenge. Happy new year!
thrifted! but it's from the Dagoli artist.. there's a lot of them in thrift stores or online but I think they're no longer in production so you kinda have to hunt a bit (but quality is amazing and artwork is beautiful)
Love that your perseverance worked out for you! There’s no better feeling than when the ideas finally start flowing!
