this champ seems like what a good old-school style legendary used to be like before they started adding all the silliness. just a fairly simple good kit with good damage. not super S tier but not a bad champ by any means. Excited to see if they do any guaranteed events for him.
6+pc merciless is better if you have it. Slayer only works on 2 of his 3 skills @30% ignore def. Merciless works on all 3 of his skills @35% ignore def.

You can't really compare the two for Hydra. Razelvarg brings speed and leech, which are important components. The cat only brings damage, which isn't really going to do the trick when putting together a team. And for arena, I didn't see him do anything that any other damage dealer could do. If you went first, you won, and if they went first, you lost. He even shat the bed against some tank teams, despite his block damage mechanic.
Because who the Cheshire Cat is, I would think that he would have a chance to cancel veil on opponents or do more damage. I kind of look at it when Frodo put on the ring and entered the realm of the ring-wraiths.
His A1 is so good because its set up for only single hitting. Like any skill that needs something else to be happening for them to do the extra (like fenax). He would be good with glacid also i think
his A3 has the same multiplier as his A1 on paper... also his A2 will increase his speed by 10% not a lot but still an increase to his dmg if he does it a few times for long fights

The Alice in Wonderland stories were written by Lewis Caroll who like CS Lewis a few years later, was born in Cheshire, England and spoke and wrote in what we would now call Received Pronunciation English. The Cheshire Cat is pronounced in the RP dialect.
Personally I prefer slayer set due to the large amount of AOE for the turn meter especially at 6 star since you should be able to cap ignore defense through other means

I love the Chesire Cat, he looks insane. Unfortunately I only have 40 ancients so it just isn't going to happen. I've been asking Raid every day if I can have him for free. They said no...pretty unreasonable if you ask me.
I was kinda underwhelmed by him at first. Seems a bit better than i expected in this showcase but still not top tier. really rough that he doesnt bring his own inc speed, and he also doesnt really bring any utility which i feel is kinda vital for an end game attack based damage dealer
I wanted him because he looks so cool regardless of how bad he was lol. So speed is more important than 100% crit rate? He's nowhere near as powerful as He-Man in my opinion so far.
Prototypical raid haters is why. They don't know how to critique and criticize legitimate things, and because they may be skipping the fusion they'll just sandbag it out of potential twisted joy of getting others to skip as well, even if they would need him.

They probably didn’t do that just bc Razelvarg is already in the game, but the White Rabbit is one of the most iconic characters from the Alice stories. Certainly more so than the knave of hearts, and the only reason Mad Hatter is bigger at this point is because of the Johnny Depp movie.

That's crazy how they keep printing hydra champs after they killed hydra as content. Wow this cat does good damage in hydra ? That's so cool if it pre nerf hydra. AI in hydra still sucks btw, champs will target immune heads all the time even with ally attack.

The reason why the cat and razelvarg are being compared is because their multipliers are set up the same way.
