Deoxys is my favourite Mythical mon too, followed by Mew and Arceus. My fave Deoxys forme is Defence because it looks the coolest and can pull off a fun strat of Toxic stalling with Toxic/Cosmic Power/Recover/Stored Power.
Do a full "Least Used Pokemon Theme Team"! You can check the least used pokemon in smogon's tiers of the past 6 months and you have an amazing theme team, a great challange indeed! Last december's Ubers' least used mon was Timburr, for example!

I love Deoxys too! My favourite form has to be attack form cuz of how Kool it looks and cuz I just did a max attack one in Violet the other day and it has 504 attack, which is the highest possible attack stat! I’m making a Deoxys D right now too! Love this mon
What if you did a team where every Pokémon has a stat boosting ability or move? Icy Scales Frosmoth, Thick Club Marowak, Lucky Punch Chansey, Huge Power Azurill, Pure Power Medicham.
Got lucky the first opponent didn’t ivy cudgel. With the gets boost it would definitely do more than no item knock. Losing the attack from to burn did change a lot tho
With the 3DS/Wii U Wi-fi shutting down in a little above 3 months, I think you should try to use a full team of the pokemon that aren't in the switch at all, which would involve going back to the 3DS games if you want. Patrat, Watchog, the elemental monkeys and Furfrou are all still locked away, and it would be nice to see them at some point. You could also use Alolan Rattata, alolan raticate and Spinda as well since if they came from the 3DS or earlier, they can't go into any of the switch titles.
The Dragon Tail spammer was named "Kouki", and right after was "Hijiki". I've never heard of either of these names, but they're rendered as if they were legitimate Japanese names, so who knows?

Well no pokemon game has been more popular (unfortunately) and got more people playing than GO so I don't think It by any means was the "death" of a franchise, In 2016 pokemon was at It's peak In how many people were playing. Although the game has steadily got worse 100% with the aggressive monetisation and player feedback. But back to the original question - pokemon go Is a very easy way to get shinys and It can be done free, personally I only play It to send pokemon to the main series games. Outside of that I have probably the biggest or one of the biggest distrabution carts collections ever which virtually spawns legendarys the key Items for them. I also have played pokemon my entire life and have almost every pokemon ball/shiny/gender etc combos since It has been my job for 14 years In comparison to someone just playing casually here and there a few hours. With recent gens the use of stuff like nature mints, bottle caps you can easily make wild pokemon competitive In a few minutes and you can even re use them and change nature to make different builds, team building is super easy. I can make battle ready pokemon in minutes too and have sunk a ton of time into the games. Makes me wonder how much you play considering I feel I play too much and I don’t have any of all that. It’s not a bad thing just didn’t understand. Because I don’t even have the first shiny deoxys. Lol
