In CLIMAX they talk about how they struggled, they left their families to make their dreams come true and all their hard works. In EMPTY (which is Winner's song now and originally composed by B.I ) they talk about how they feel sad and empty when they lost during WIN. In WAIT FOR ME they told their fans to wait because they're coming back. This was 3 years ago do you believe it? Three years ago the 6 didn't know they were going to debut and make a hit, three years ago they didn't know a seventh member would join them, three years ago the four of them were unsure of their debut but they did it :') YG put them through so much trials and i bet if the present them would go back in time and told them "hey, you're going to debut, you're going to make great songs and do concerts in japan and korea" the past them wouldn't believe it. They have a strong bond and even thought bobby, b.i and jinhwan was definitely going to debut, they shed tears with those who was probably debuting or not at all because they have been through so much together. 지금 시간 오후 9시 31분. 전역하고 고향 내려가는 기차 안이다. 몇년간 잊고있던 이 노래가 문득 떠올라 음악앱을 켰다. 이 음원이 없었다. 휴대폰을 바꾸면서 음원이 안옮겨졌나보다. 그래서 유튜브를 통해 이 영상을 재생 중이다. 아이콘보다는 B팀이 나에겐 더 가깝고 뜨겁게 남아있다. 10대를 그 누구보다도 뜨겁고 처절하게 싸워나간 이들 덕분에 나도 나의 10대 시절과 싸워나갈 힘을 얻곤 했다. 그리고 이 노래 가사처럼 시간을 달려 어느덧 여기까지 왔다. 고1 시절 WIN을 보며 열렬히 응원하고 안타까운 결과에 내 일마냥 아파했던 시간. 그렇게 그들의 등장을 기다리며 맞이한 고3 시절.
믹스앤매치의 재조합 시스템을 보며 '굳이 왜...?'하고 어이없어하면서도 어쩔 수 없이 그들을 응원하고 입시생으로서 갇힌 시스템 속에서 함께 싸워나간 시간. 그 시간들을 달려 나는 대학생이 되었고 (그때 산 노트북에는 아이콘앨범 속 스티커 'No plan no swag'이 붙어있다.) 입대를 했다.
입대한 첫 주 일요일. 훈련소 교회 사회 이슈전달 시간에 접한 믿을 수 없는 소식.
나와 함께 힘들었던 시간들과 싸우고 '내 꿈에 걸맞는 사람이 되려면 이 정도로 해야하는거야' 하고 알려주었던 그의 범죄소식이었다.
그로부터 비롯된 안타까운 심정은 바쁜 업무에 점점 지워져갔다. 그러다 우연히 접하게 된 그의 싸클 데모 소식. 그 데모를 들으며 언젠가 다시 만나겠지..라는 개인적인 희망섞인 약속.
얼마전 기다리고 있던 아티스트의 앨범소식을 접하고 기대하던 중 생각지도 못한 내용이 눈에 들어왔다.

OMG I think Yunhyeong improved the most out of all team B vocals. Please YG stans. Vote for him and Donghyuk. Junhwe already has a solid fanbase so he will definitely get in. I feel like yg is just doing what mydol did with vixx. I think it's a bit unfair at this point to just play with them like this. I mean team b has already gone through one stupid audition thing, so why are they doing it again? I understand he's doing it for press and all that but I think it's unfair to the boys.
He's following through with his promise. He's just giving us a say in the matter as well. Plus, publicity before debut is very helpful. Thank God he's decided to make iKON a 7 member group though because he promised Team B would go through changes and if iKON was 6, we'd most likely be losing one of these guys.

I was just thinking from team b's pov in that they already had to deal with not debuting through WIN but now their team may potentially be broken up. i just feel a bit sorry for them, because for them its kinda unfair after being together for so long.

I don't think #yg is doing it to hurt them or anything like that or even to be unfair to the boys.
It's more like by having another competition will let them have a goal and work harder for it.
As you maybe know or not after WIN! The next day after the final! They went back to the practice studio to work harder to improve themself.
And by having another competition you could clearly see them improving even more and giving their all.
You can say having this competition before their debut would make them more popular as you could already see with #WINNER and #VIXX.
It's another way of promoting them aswell^^ a really smart and good way=D

I always thought that they did it to make them more popular in fact after all these programs they are more famous. And team b is still now in ikon ,so nothing changed unless the addition of the new member. (Sorry if i did some mistakes but I'm not that good in english😪)
