    I love the commercial and HV side of things, whether it's upgrading to LED lighting or service calls, they're always cool to see I hope you're living the dream and are prosperous and successful, you've definitely earned it, Nate!

    I get nervous when I see you touch the wires inside the boxes. My mind thinks its going to see sparks. I know you know what your doing... Thanks for the explanation on your trouble shoot project.

    Very cool mr Nate
    What I like to do when ever I install a device with a contactor is put a 2 Amp fuse on the line side- that way if the coil on the contactor opens or shorts the circuit, it opens a fuse and avoids a smoky mess. This is also why manufacturers fuse their control circuits in combination starters.
    Thanks for posting!

    Whoa! The world fell over there for a second lol! Good explanation there of what's going on with the amps vs volts. I've thought of putting all my outlets in my shop on a contactor like that so once I kill the lights, I know anything I left plugged in isn't going to cause a fire or something. Anyway, thanks for the video!

    I like how this guy always says "comment, rate, and subscribe, if you want to." Way better than those guys who are all DON'T FORGET TO SMASH THAT LIKE BUTTON before the vid even starts lmfao. Love the electrical project vids, keep 'em coming.

    We have almost the exact same setup where I work. I love hearing people speak my language on youtube when it comes to industrial shit! Lol. We just replaced two 120v lighting contactors a month ago. It's just a matter of time before they fail. What are your thought on Allen Bradley components? We've been running them for decades, but are thinking of switching to ABB or Omron at least for contactors. Allen Bradley can suck it when it comes to PLC's.

    • @mrnate4280
      @mrnate4280  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah the Allen Bradley stuff used to be pretty big but it's hard to find replacement components sometimes. I like Omron

    My Grandpa had died and my grandma had my Dad start painting in the basement an right under the fuse panel hanging down by the wall, were 2 wires. My Dad decided to call an electrician in to check the deal on those wires. They were 480 volts now what my Grandpa was doing with that no one knows. My Dad made the right decision. I know the electrician who wired up my in ground pool made good money on it.
