Minor point, video back to front, guessing you used the selfie lens but thanks very much for the tip. Doing a radiator at the moment so will try it out.😊
I was always using fernox gas jointing compound on thread on both sides + cannabis hair + scratches the thread , so cannabis not spinning during turning. I need to feel when going in tight. Then l know is no gap between. Newer had any leak . Now l need to buy new so l will try this stuff instead of gas compound. ( l like it when is new. After half can like to dry and l need to add cooking oil to make it soft again and mix it )
Hi...Leave around ten mins to set & you can put water through the join. After 24hrs it will hold up to 700Bar 😯. Very important the threads are new & clean. Old, pre used threads are less suitable as you can never get them properly clean. If you need any help get in touch 😊
First video I came to view on liquid PTFE and it’s done by a fellow bootneck. Good effort royal. Great video 👌🏻

Brilliant... Please let us know how you get on with it!
Had to use tape in the end. Urgent need and that was all they had. Job done but thanks for the tip, will look out for the liquid.
@@williamlawrenson8345 thats a shame - Next time you are doing some work give us a shout ahead of time & we will get you sorted out 😍
Those bleed nuts always leak too, be a good idea to put some on them too.

Loctite 55:..?
@@Ste2023 I would stand it up against both 💙🙂
How does it hold up on compressed air lines?
How hard to break the seal if needed to change tail for a longer one etc?
Once cured you will need to gently apply heat to re-open the threads 🙂 It can be done!

How long does it take to dry? And to pass water through?

I've used it on leaking trv head, sealed in seconds ,so it's good to leave for 10mins but it does work instantly.
@@deadbydawno Its brilliant stuff... We recommend only use on clean, new threads but if it works for you then brilliant! 😍
No good if you want to turn the water back on straight away then…
Can this be used on pipes with potable water?
hi what pliers are you using?
knipex
Does it dry up in the bottle if not used for some time? Fernox LS-X always does
The bottles have a click closing point to the lid. If you keep it closed it wont dry up 🙂
Wow Québec ❤😮
Ha Jamie it good stuff super leak free mate it’s nite mare to undo 😂😂
Wee bit of heat on it and it will come loose again 💙
Leak city
We have so many installers using it now without any issues.
If the thread is dry, clean and new it won't leak!
Don’t know what ur talking about 🤐
@@hamaadrana6191 Thanks its a cracking product!
Are these threads easy to remove down the line...?
@MikeKeel no...they need to heated to be removed, like super glue on steroids, even after 10 minutes.
