I'm glad she mentioned that we shouldn't be making another person our everything. The closest people in our lives have the most power to hurt us. People tend to get comfortable thinking we're going to put up with anything just to not be out there on our own. I'm glad I've made my peace with being my independent happy self. I don't have to lean on anyone but the goodness in the world that the Good Lord gives all of us to survive.

THIS has got to be one of the most real interviews I've ever seen. It's why Mary J. Blige is loved SO much. I had a very similar experience with the demise of my marriage. Sometimes you get blindsided by someone you thought was capable of loving just as much as you are willing to but it doesn't turn out that way. The worst part is the games that are played. If that is the life you chose, don't drag the other person around in your mess. Be real. Be authentic and move on. Mary is indeed strong and it SUCKS right now I know. But I'm a witness that it gets better. Don't be vengeful, bitter and hateful during the process. Let your faith grow during the process and get to the other side. It will pay off in your favor. God is our vindicator. Live your life girl. No matter what, I'm always a fan.

Mary's music got me threw a couple of decades. Growing up listening to her gave me so much energy and power as a female. Ups and downs just like her songs i could allways relate. All I can think about is how happy she was when they first got together, the ''Be without You'' video, and the influence of their relationship on the "Breakthrough'' album. I really thought Kendu was going to be in for the long haul (guess not) but when Mary goes through it, Hunny chile! Album be fire! Mary just has that therapy release that she pours into her music. I love it although I hate to see her go though this. I wish her well but I'm ready for this album!!

This is heartbreaking to see my 914 sister go through this. First of all K-Ci only said he would never get married back then because he wasn't man enough to stand up for what he knew was right when those people pressured him with that question. Then she turns around and gets confronted with that truth on television.
