If i ever have a channel focused on fish keeping, i would do feeding videos weekly at least. Feeding fish is the most rewarding part of fish keeping, ill never understand why more fish tubers dont do more all feeding videos. Trust and believe its very hard for anyone that loves aquariums to scroll past a video that has something about feeding fish in the title lol **it NEVER gets old or repetitive**
Why are people so mad, it’s his tanks and he can do as he pleases. He does not do this to satisfy you. I’ve learned most of my fish knowledge from Joey and he shows us the ups and downs to fish keeping. He keeps it real and is always trying something different. Some people like to set up a tank and never touch it again. Other enjoy changing tanks around ect, everyone can enjoy the hobby as they please

You're doing great bro! Stopped in to give a suggestion for the 16' tank. The blue background is kinda tough imo. It's a little sharp on the eyes. Black would look good but I'm pretty sure the blue is painted on the back and wouldn't be easy to change. But would it be possible to put a super dark tint on the inside of the tank? Like over the blue. I feel like that would actually look so good if it could be done safely. Try and picture the blue background with a dark black window tint over it, it would almost float over the blue. Maybe play with a few different levels of tint so you can get a deep dark blue. Just throwing the idea out there. Not even sure if it would be possible but I think it would look great and unique.
I believe it’s stress. Some still look very stressed. I would add some taller plants and good hiding spots around to help them feel a bit more secure you can always use them elsewhere when yours grow in. Cost less than replacing the fish.
I believe it was the Bronx zoo that had a large piranha display with Bleeding Heart tetras… This was close to 30 years ago but 10 year old me thought it was pretty bad ass 😬😆

Oh, or maybe something like neocaridina, maybe dream blue's or simple green? Or would shrimp get stuck in the filter... =/
Stress seems a possibility The weakest fish of the pack could be beaten up most in a stressfull situation. Or the weakest fish where just not able to handle the stress as good as the stronger ones. Perhaps if the situation would have last a few days longer you lost more.
I have a heavily stocked 55-gallon tank. I do water changes every 2 weeks. However, my water tends to always appear cloudy. Was wondering if I should increase my filtration since the canister filter that I use has seen its better days. Its rated for 150 gallon tanks but I know it's not preforming hownit use too. I also feed my fish every 2 days.

When dealing with large numbers of fish sometimes there is casualties. As to the question of what happened, I believe they got bashed by the bigger fish mixed with the stress they were in just made for a situation the smaller guys couldn't contend with.
How long does it take you to clean all those tanks? I have three aquariums of what I consider decent sizes but nothing like yours so I couldn't imagine how long it takes!!

JOEY! You need to get 150 TIGER BARBS (only striped) in the 16FT. They're fast enough and aggressive enough for feedings and a show on their own.

I've heard of keeping tiger barbs with piranha, but I've also heard anything smaller than the piranha will be food.
That Angel/Geo tank is incredible. Oh and how about 25 piranha vs 2 piranha?
Throw some cherry shrimp into the tank. They might be ok with the plant cover and will clean up the leftover food.

exodon bucktooth tetra for sure but you need to be cautious when adding them. Piranha might mistake them as food. Pleco is iffy too.

Put in frogbit and Java moss, itll nuke the hair algea. Also get some small fish that eat it. Piranha won't bother them.

Add some exodon vampire tetras to eat the small scraps that the piranhas leave behind. It will add good top water movement as well
If your going to add neon tetra, will chili rasbora be a better option? Because they're smaller and more exotic(or more uncommon)

They didn't die from lack of oxygen. Normally, larger fish will suffer more than smaller fish first.
