- Just a small block paved driveway pressure washing and re sanding. iv also upgraded my pressure washing pump from a 25 litre 300 bar to a 30 litre 250 bar. This powers through the moss on the driveway cleaning jobs.

we just paid a small fortune to someone for jet washing our drive n all he did was blow mud around everywhere else like doors walls neighbours garden n street in order to clean the drive...had no idea about cutting in even though it seems common sense! randomly seen this video n realised how ur actually supposed to clean a drive! loved it n almost put me to sleep it was soothing lol
I would of never thought to re-sand the bricks , great job 👍 nice and professional.
Shame the same can't be said about how it was laid.

Strange landscape design that stormwater flow toward the house instead away toward the road
@thecouchtripper I mean unusual - the building engineer must have his reason, perhaps the property is sloping downward but flowing toward the house indeed seems terrible idea!
Eric Shao the perfect angle to see that the house is on a slant is 2:16. If you look next door and see the roof of the orange car, you can see it slants down
Look at how it's actually been laid, it's bloody awful. Right cowboys.

As somebody who has a 40 year old block paved driveway I would suggest painting the drive to restore original colour (search smartseal. I always apply sealant after resanding the blocks to lock the sand in and prevent the buildup of dirt which leads to weeds/moss.

I've recently started taking on outdoor cleaning as part of my business as a sideline. I don't have the equipment you have, but I have a decent setup that was initially bought to clean up after myself doing other work, so may as well earn a little where I can.
I had a lady call me for a quote, so I arrived on time to find she wanted a 10 slab path cleaned. I was a bit peeved as I was told it was a bigger job on the phone, however I offered to do it for £15 there and then, just to cover the fuel and time. But no, she wanted me to return the following day as she has visitors and didn't want any noise. The price had to go up to £25 for me to make a return journey and she went bonkers.
Needless to say I just walked away.
Your too cheap, our mimiim charge is £90 , good luck in your business though 👍

Me too, so after couple of weeks it started filling up with grass and now it looks even worse.

When re sanding the pavers do you need to put down some weed killer before then when the sand is brushed in does it need watered to set?

Poorly designed driveway, the water drains towards the house when it should drain away from the house
I thought I was only one who had that in my mind
I was just about to comment on that and say, "what a cute house but the driveway...I don't want a flood everytime it rains." But the end yoy can see there is a small drain before the garage so it drains fine.
could have been designed correctly at first, earth moves over time and could have displaced it all to then run toward the house rather than away?
It's these new build estates Barratt persimmon etc are always building, they build 200 houses in 12 months, there all terribly designed terribly built and always get the very basics wrong.
Sometimes you have to work with the land. There is nothing wrong with the driveway, if you watch, the driveway is sloped so that the water runs away from the house to the sides.
There is no ponding and water runs away easily, so I can't see there being any problems there.
It would be impossible to slope the drive away from the house unless you lower the road or raise the land under the house.

Funny story: My concrete driveway has grime on it now (just like what you did here). A hail storm hit a month ago, and where the hail hit the driveway, is a clean spot from each hail stone impact.
My driveway has 'spots', until I pressure wash mine!
Blimy them hailstones would of been bloody hard 😁😂

Always wondered this too.
It helps remove the black and white spots that you get on really dirty patios and driveways that the jet wash can’t always remove and I believe it also helps all the dirt and grime come off easier

1 wash does it. Cleans the brick and cleans out the joints. Doing all those separate rinses are unnecessary. You also forgot to wet the polymeric so the adhesive activates.
Polymetric sand is no good for block paving,Kiln dried sand is used
@@Bournemouthjetwashing can I ask why you think that? Polymeric sand is used for any type of pavers for couple reasons which I'm sure you know already. A, for the weeds to not grow through and b, the main reason is so the stones stay in place and don't shift. Poly should definitely be used on driveways
