Great job CS going over the basics. We'll be going again this year. Honestly it's because of your past vlogs that we decided to do VIP last year and again this year. Like you've said in the past value is all in the eyes of the buyer. For us we'd rather pay the up charge for 1 day of VIP compared to multiple days in the reg GA for the price.
Finally gonna knock off seeing my bucket list band Limp Bizkit this year. Can't wait till next week!!! Keep up the great work, look forward to seeing this years coverage from you guys!! 👍
Very cool! We saw Limp Bizkit a couple of years back at Hard Rock Casino in Tampa (and a few times many years ago). They are really fun live.

What I always tell people if they ask me “what should I wear”, I tell them to prioritize comfort over look.
One of the smartest purchases I made was a pair of Sketchers Twist fit shoes. They were comfortable and I didn’t have to worry about my shoelaces coming untied. Also another smart purchase you can make, a cooling towel.
Exactly. Comfort over all else. It’s brutally hot and there’s so much walking.

Can't wait for your Rockville videos. Always the best time of the year for your channel. On the moshing front, I was never one for moshing. I always stand in the back or to the side at SRO shows.
Getting caught up in the excitement and getting in the pit is great until I feel it the next morning. I’m sure we’ll be to the side for most of the sets.

So if you show up later in the day to park there may not be parking even if you paid for VIP parking? That makes me a bit nervous.

Same day parking will be available on site for $50 a day.

First time going. Going all 4 days should be fun
So exited my first Rockville! I’m going Sunday and they are sold out of parking online, should I contact stores across the street to park there or go to the stadium and try to park there?
Arrive early and park at the track. I talk about this in the video a few times. :)
My kids told me they were going to this and I CANNOT believe they didn’t let me know in advance OR invite me! They now have to FaceTime me for all the bands I want to see 🎤🤟👩🏼🎸🎵

so this is my first time going to rockville and i want to get barricade on the apex stage how difficult do yu think that would be? and also could we go in anytime when the gates are open?
You can enter any time after gate time. People line up in the morning to run to the barricades for the stages when gates open.
Judsa priest is my main band
I want to see Priest again, but they are at the same time as ICP. The overlap in schedules this year is really tough.
I would absolutely love to go to this if it were anytime November-March. No way in hell would I go this time of year! Standing out there in the heat with the sun beaming down on you is dangerous after like a half hour, maybe an hour with a hat and sunscreen, IDK how anyone can make it four days. And then you add the camping on top of it. They have turned something that is supposed to be fun into an episode of survivor.
Seems like a solar charger would be a good idea, keep regenerating battery pack in the sun. If those are allowed. What does VIPs is non existent mean? Just not very many places?
VIP only has spaces at 2 of the 5 stages. The other 3 stages are essentially GA. You can bring a battery pack in. Not sure how the solar powered battery pack would work as most times, you are packed in tight with people all around you and nowhere to put the battery down.
I really want to see both Queens of the stone age and Foo fighters.

We eat a feast before we go in and just Tank booze while we are inside then eat when We leave. To spare us the lines.
If you get there later and have premium parking passes can you still park? Does parking generally tend to fill up?
We’ve done premium parking in the past and while it didn’t fill up for us, the walk to the entryway was a bit further away. I can’t speak for the last couple of years, bc we’ve camped. That said, I expect the event to be much busier this year than in the past.
@@ViewFromTheCheapSeats When they say "Gates Open" is that when the gates open for parking or is that when they will start scanning wrist passes for the stadium. I am thinking I will try to get there as early as possible....sorry for all the noob questions, this is my first year...thanks!

All about perspective and location too…I would rather pay $16 for a bag of ice at the camp store which is 200’ from Owners Lot than walk an hour.
100% accurate. We’ve bought from the general store on site as well. However, if you need to leave the track for other reasons like restaurant use, etc, it’s good to tack on picking up ice outside. The walk to the general store inside isn’t much shorter than going through the tunnel to the gas station if you are in Orange camping.
Collapsible silicon water bottles okay? Dont see why not lol. Plus yall see anyone walking to get checked at security then to orange camp site? No car just getting dropped off by ride share.
Yes on the water bottles. Security does check wristbands for people going to the camp sites.
All good there got the 4 day fest passes and camping pass all are camping gear shoved in two duffle bags we will dragging it to the camp site on a collapsible hand dolly and two back packs.

Yessss. Hopefully, I find out next week, but I am not sure that they play that song live. ICP is one of the few acts that I’ve never seen live before.

Best advice don't go. They over sell the VIP so there are no seats and if it thunders they kick you out. And when you go to see Megadeth and they scrub you don't get a refund. Danny Wimmer is a straight up dirtbag scammer. That's not an opinion either. Never paying to go there ever again.
We haven’t had a bad time for the last 11 years of going. They have to kick people off the track when lightning is in the distance. That’s a law in FL that the track follows for races as well. Sorry that you had a bad experience.
Rockville should be returned to Jacksonville
I loved the Jax days, but the event is too big now to return anywhere in Jax. With the housing built on the river, there’s nowhere to go to put multiple stages.
