I’ve had multiple encounters with God that I can’t deny his existence and used to be an agnostic atheist. We are Gentiles - followers of the Jewish Messiah. "Christianity" was born out of the cause for the Gentiles to survive the 2nd Jewish and Roman Conflict. The Roman's gave the Gentiles who worshipped with the Jewish religion the option to die with the Jews or live by disassociating themselves from the Jews. So the Gentiles did some - rebranding.

      He did not present the scriptures correctly. So you tell me if all Jesus disciples were sinners but still Christian that god's child that happens to love their wife who happens to be the same-sex cannot be Christian that's a bunch of a bologna. No sin is greater than the next its sin but no human has the right to say what religion a person can be apart of. Chris I definitely respect your view no matter what and that's what's important.

    • @davidbassjr.7909
      @davidbassjr.7909 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @NE3Music Do you have a chapter and verse to support your points? You must have missed the part where Chris explained the necessity of repentance. Acts 17:30 says that God commands all people everywhere to repent. Faith must be accompanied by repentance. That is the right response to the gospel. See Acts 2:37-39 and Luke 24:47. Scripture actually does distinguish between different kinds of sins. Not all sins are called unnatural and an abomination like homosexuality is. True, sin is still sin at the end of the day and yes all Christians do still sin, but repentance is what separates the true believer from the unbeliever. Genuine believers do not continue to live in sin (Romans 6:1-13). True believers have actually been born again, changed, transformed, and made completely brand new (2 Corinthians 5:17), made right with God, and now have the Holy Spirit - God Himself - living inside of us. And because of that we are grieved by sin and repent when we fall into it, and we desire and strive to live free of it.

    • @jda_99
      @jda_99 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@niceglass3551 I believe what you’re truly saying is why does God allow pain and suffering?
      1. Free will
      Where does most of the evil in this world come from? Much of it is a direct consequence of our wrong choices as human beings. Yet one of the greatest goods that God has given us is free will - the ability to choose between right and wrong. The problem is that many people choose to do evil rather than good, which then has devastating ramifications on others. It truly is sad. But God would not be a good God if he did not allow us free will to choose.
      2. We live in a broken world
      From a Christian worldview, due to Adam’s disobedience in the Garden, he caused sin to enter into God’s perfect world. Death was unfortunately part of that. Yet, Paul explains the hope that we have in awaiting Christ’s return, with the promise that one day ‘the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God’ (Romans 8:21).
      3. Draw closer to Christ
      People often assume that since God is such a “loving” God, it’s his job to keep human beings happy, comfortable and pain-free. However, people often forget about God when they’re comfortable. Christianity often thrives in places which are experiencing the fires of persecution or hardship. For some, suffering leads to an abandonment of belief in God, but for many, it causes them to seek God in a world that seems absurd without him. It can be argued that meaningful moral and spiritual growth requires a world where some suffering exists. I cannot be generous unless there is someone who has less than me. I cannot show compassion unless there is someone who needs caring for.
      God’s purpose for human beings is to bring them to know and love him.

    Man, this was so refreshing! Chris was on point! We were given a conscience, and with that, we have choices .... you CHOOSE to do what is right or CHOOSE to resist the temptation when it presents itself. You can ask God for forgiveness, but is it right to conciously and knowingly continue to do the things that you are asking forgiveness for and expect to be forgiven?
    That doesn't work anywhere or in any situation ....
    Peace and blessings to all!

    Boom! There it is right there: We are all born into sin; shaped in iniquity. That being said, the "born this way" is an argument regularly used against Christians, but it is a dead argument. Yes we’re born into sin because we’re taught and programmed into a world of LIES off rip. Handicap, blind, gay, dwarfed etc is what falls under generational curses through deception because most so called believers don’t know nor understand Christ or even know who HIS FATHER is. If there’s a thing called repentance why would I visit your iniquity’s to the 3rd, 4th and 5th generations🤔
      All Truth is through Christ so nobody will ever pay for the iniquity of another if you know HIS FATHER.🙏🏽

    • @Miss-pm4kb
      @Miss-pm4kb 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@truth0136 I am not trying to be funny, but 1. half of what you said, you loss me; It's not clear. It sounds like you deny the biblical teaching of ORIGINAL SIN 🤔. What you stated agrees with Islam's position on SIN and its origin 2. Deuteronomy 5, are you asking a question or are you being rhetorical?? However, I will address it - ".....iniquity to the 3rd, 4th, 5th generation...." - The answer to your question is in the very same verse you mentioned. Deuteronomy 5:9 - 10 says at the end of verse 9: .........GENERATION OF THEM THAT HATE ME." Keys words "them that hate ME." THEM is the wicked that refuse to Repent of their Idolatry and not just them, but their children and their children's children and their children's children and their children that follow after the wicked patterns of their fathers and do not keep His commandments. The Bible says God is angry with the wicked EVERYDAY. Now, look at the contrast in verse 10- And showing mercy to them that LOVE Me and keep my commandments. NOW, what does the Gospel has to say on this: John 3:36 -Whoever believes in the Son has Eternal Life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the WRATH OF GOD REMAINS ON HIM. Do you agree with this?? 3. Then you go on to say: "All Truth is through Christ" I am not denying John 14:6, but your statement is vague. What Truth are you referring to? Do you believe the Gospel? If so, what is the Gospel? I know what the Gospel is, but I am asking You??

    • @truth0136

      @@Miss-pm4kb It’s simple sista. Those who do not understand Christ nor His Fathers Truth is fall under them curses whether they HATE or not. Also that’s spoken of in Exodus.
      Exodus 34:7
      Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
      Numbers 14.18
      The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.
      That’s why you see so much death within our people these days and days of old. These are the Tribulation of the days/years because days can be years and years can be days but in this case these are the tribulation of the years which is ending now and the 42 months is gonna be the time of Jacobs trouble which is also the final 3.5 yrs and time, times and half a time. The Bride will be gone during this 42 month period.
