Bts aren't disbanded there on a hiatus which means taking a break till they all come back in 2025 and they arw all in the military right now but Jin and Jhope come out this year Jin comes out june 12th plus jhope comes out in October 17th as well.

This was a practice for an awards show, 2019 MMA. The middle section is a dance break inserted for the performance. There was a crazy intro leading into it. and it was epic.

They are still together but doing military enlistment. Will reunite after June2025. As mentioned by other comment, 2 members will be discharged this year since they enlisted early.
Even they are in the military and not musically active, they still continue to release contents for their fans every few weeks. I saw somebody summarized that since mid 2022, they have released total of 97 songs as single or in album. That shows how hardworking and well planned they are.

What appealed to me about BTS is how multi-talented they all are & they love their fans (ARMY) & they do not forget them. Every year around their anniversary June 13, they release special gifts for their fans. (FESTA). Check on the age demographics of their fans & you will find young girls are not the majority. You will probably never see a fan base like that of BTS. EVERY AGE, male & female. If people would only give them a chance & get past what they think BTS is, they would be pleasantly surprised. I am so glad my daughter introduced me to them over 4 years ago. I listen to them every day. They are not a boy band. They are much, much more. Also, they did not disband.
From my experience, I realize a lot of guys including friends and relatives automatically assume being their fan is for looks and not any more than that because I’m a female and they see them as pretty boys. I personally feel low-key insulted by them actually. Only because when I tell them the reason why I am a fan (their music, great artists, write/produce their own music, but ultimately truly good humans) but you see it in their faces and their dismissiveness, that they don’t believe you. I shouldn’t have to prove anything. There’s nothing wrong with being attracted to their looks, but what bothers me is that guys don’t take my words (bounces off of them/goes right through their ears) and maintain in their belief that it’s only because of they’re looks. I know there are a lot that do, especially during this TikTok age, a lot of new generation of fans came in from that. So I don’t doubt you that your daughter probably find them cute first. But I challenge guys to genuinely ask (not to mock/judge) why they are fans and to believe them. Cheers!
Well said. This made me think back to when I first discovered them -- it's soooo strange to say this now, but at the time (as an Asian who grew up in the West and had a very Western-centric eye for beauty -- I almost had to be convinced that BTS were (model-level) good-looking. I mean, of course they are, but that wasn't the first thing that drew me to them. It was their personalities and charisma. The way they danced onto the Stephen Colbert stage, the way they goofed around with each other, their choreography, their music and lyrics and bond as a group... I'd read comments going on about how they're the best-looking people on earth and I remember thinking: are they? But it wasn't long after that where everything gelled together and I could see it: their beauty, both inside and out.
And then it was their inner beauty (sounds corny but it's true) that made me see their outer beauty even more -- and now, they Are my beauty standard, haha... as well as a general standard for how all good humans should be. Not saying they're perfect saints since no one is, but they are great role models on so many levels. There are so many drop-dead, gorgeous-looking people and actors and models out there -- but I've found that, unless they capture the heart in some way, I'm not inspired to 'follow' them as I have been with BTS. BTS has heart, through and through, and they are some of the most endearing people on earth. The more you see them and hear them, the more you appreciate them, like family -- it's not just some passing infatuation with eye candy.
I am a woman. But what if I told you that their looks is just the cherry on top? They are seven energetic, talented, amazing guys....
And please, be correct when giving out info: they NEVER disbanded. They are serving in the Army as every Korean man has to do. They signed new contracts before enlistment. The younger members were not supposed to enlist so early, but they wanted to all return within mid-2025 to get together again.
This type of dance practices with dance breaks are usually rehearsals for award performances (MAMA, MMA, GMA, etc)

In BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star, RM himself said "sincerity" was BTS' main 'offering', that the only reason they should go down in history is because, as a group, they were able to give out that sincerity in a way that inspired millions to give it back to them (aka, the 'Army' phenomenon). And his saying that perfectly demonstrates the other keyword: humility! 😄 (I relate to that too -- the commercial music industry as a whole gives me bad vibes, haha, even though I may like random songs here and there. I feel like I don't want to be under its influence somehow).
They already signed a nother seven year contract they even posted pictures of their contracts on Instagram as well on their individual accounts as well.

Boys love them too. Guys fanguying over them too. The did not disband. They did some solo albums for the first time. December 2023 the remaining 4 went to mandatory military service. Jin the oldest went first so he will be home ina few days. They will all be home by the summer/fall of 2025. Show him the live performance at 2019 MMA awards.

Yeah BTS lyricism is poetry itself.
They are not a boy band. They began as a hip hop group. They are called a boy band because boys perform, but it’s much more. Listen to their hip hop from the early days. Listen to their solo works . They all have the kind of talent that is needed to become a solo artist. No one band member is carrying the entire group.
Their definition on hiatus definitely different from others

I really enjoyed your reaction, and I subscribed as soon as I heard that you loved them all equally (even though I have a bias lol). I agree that everyone has different things that caught their attention with BTS. Mine was the dancing first, then I fell in love with their music, and then I fell in love with each of the guys after getting to know more about them.

They are most certainly seven extremely handsome men but looks would not keep most people interested for long. It is their personalities, humility and outstanding talent the keeps people so interested in them. Jin is back next week and J Hope is back October 17. The other five guys are back in June 2025. Also as other have said, they are not disbanded, just taking a break and plan to reunite in 2025. You should react to their Mic Drop and/or Danger dance breaks.

FYI - BTS has not disbanded. They are also still releasing solo work. And they all seven renewed their contract with their label Big Hit Music, for the second time, before they enlisted. They are on a group break right now, and they will be back as a team in June 2025. JIN (the eldest) will be back next week. He will be celebrating BTS's 11th anniversary with ARMY's on June 13, 2024, and J-Hope will be back on October 17, 2024. The rest will be back 2025. Please don't ever say they are disbanded, unless of course they actually do disband and it's been announced.
Also, K-Pop isn't Pop music, it's considered an industry, not a genre. K-Pop is the IDOL industry, and Korean Pop isn't even held to the same standards as K-Pop. BTS are an anomaly in K-Pop. While they were brought up in the IDOL system, they actually debuted as a HIP HOP IDOL group, and they write and produce most of their own music. RM and SUGA came from underground hip hop, and they got a lot of hate for signing with Big Hit and becoming IDOLS. BTS are no longer just a "K-Pop" group, they are considered mainstream at this point. They topping charts in categories like HIP HOP, RnB, Alternative music, you name it they are doing it. They are known for crossing and fusing many genres. For Example, SUGA and RM have both topped the Top Rap albums charts, and RM has been on the charts for Alternative music, and J-Hope for Rock and Hip Hop. As a group they topped many charts. All of the members are doing it. If you want to know more, I would check out Boracity Magazines video essays. She is a BTS channel, and covers all topics BTS.

Camera is a little far from them and their move can not see clearly because of camera angle. If you watch their live performance for MMA Dionysus 2019, their dance move, facial expression and voice and performance are really awesome. I absolutely recommend this live performance and I am sure you will definitely like it.
about the appearance . they are handsome men for sure it can catch someone attention make them interested but what makes you stay loyal is the art not the faces
in my case i was impressed by 2 of their songs and it got me curious at that time i did not even tellk them apart so i did not care about their looks till later
