Another awesome video Agnieszka! How ironic that the truckers are so fragile psychologically (or think they are supremely entitled) that they have to pick on the poor vulnerable road users! So great that you had so many instances of benevolent empathic humanity to balance out those jerks! Yea Susie and Todd! Yea Canmore bike shop! Yea warm showers hosts! (Great chair!) Love the perspectives (on humanity AND the literal ones with the views! ) Roll on! I will patiently wait for the next installment.
Thank you for watching and for the comment. I had to admit that most truck drivers were very good, the ones that weren't were really bad. But yes! The universe surely made up for the roadside antics with the kindness and generosity of other people.
Sorry from Alberta! Truckers aren’t sensitive here though, they just don’t care. Equally drivers hate each other here too though so it’s not the bikes per say.
Oh man, Google took us that same way in Calgary!! We said screw it and walked down it to the tunnel! As for the 1A, we also took it and had some jerks. We even got honked at!! I gave the guy the finger and he slowed right down as though he was going to stop and get out. I gave him a "bring it" gesture and then he drove off. He had to slow down for maybe 15 seconds because of oncoming traffic. If you're seriously that inconvenienced over 15 seconds, you really need to check yourself!
Yes, that stretch of 1A was very odd. Mostly beautiful, but the truck drivers got aggressive. Not only with me, but there was a group of three riders ahead and one truck got so close to them. It was scary to watch. Calgary... That was an experience and a half. What I didn't capture on film was the thunderstorm we were in. We were exposed on that hill and lightening was coming down all around us. It was quite the experience.
I will tell someone close to me to make sure the company reminds their drivers to watch out for cyclists near the Lafarge Cement Plant at their next corporate meeting ;-)👎 - glad you made it safely through that section
Oh merci beaucoup 👍💙 !!!
Thanks as well!
Thanks!
Wiencej takich kaczuszek jak Ty .
Thank you! That's super generous and unexpected.
welcome to Calgary!!!
Thank you! It was a beautiful city to visit.
WELL... I was in Toronto last 2 days and just came back to Calgary! I believe you were in SK after Hoodoos! lol
"Small world" isn't it? 😉 Yes, I rode through SK after I left the hoodoos.
The adventure continues. Thanks for another good vid of the trip. Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks for watching!
Wow, no one ever pushed me up a hill. You got spoiled! 🙂
Yes! Absolutely! And it was wonderful. I'd definitely do it again. 😉

@johngorman7729 I think it's people being people.
Super video and it is super when you meet kindness. I have had similar on my long rides.
There are a lot of kind people out there.
wow! its me!!
Yes, it's you. 😉
hills again, loll, first time I see a push-up bike hill, there were times I wished someone would push me.
It was marvellous to be pushed up that hill. I loved it!
1:50 Terrifying! And you didn't even flinch -- or flip the bird.
No, I don't get involved if I can keep it together. Not worth it.
Where did you get you’re bike panniers from
I got them from Arkel directly.
@@WheelsonaBikeok thanks just asking cuz I’m looking for like 15 litres to one’s to put on the front on my mountain bike for touring
