@HennersD : at the Belgian national championship there start racers with contract and without contract. Sven nys , Niels Albert,.... are all prof with contract. And than there are also riders without contract,no sponsor.
If that was what happened, I'd be pissed yeah. But Nys basically had the opportunity to shape his own bike added onto a huge wage, which Colnago soon enough declared they couldn't match.
Don't waste your money on a Colnago... trust a person who travels to the factories in China to test them. Companies like Giant, Felt, and Focus have really good manufacturers in Taiwan and build much better bikes for the money. It's mostly in the name.
I have had this very same thought. Yeah, his bank account probably soothes that pain in the arsse. But, I know I'd rather be on an Italian (heritage) steed. But ehhh, I'm Eyetalian.
