LOSES MY MINDDDDDDDD. i love love LOVEEE your style and the way u utilize green white and black is just so
I love this animatic! It perfectly encapsulates the saying "every frame's a painting"! The colour minimalism is also great, and shows you don't need massive variety in order to express different emotions!
I feel really bad for Jade. She feels like the forgotten character. Dave gets Karkat, rose gets kanaya (John gets to be the main character) and Jade just kinda getting her heart broken over and over again
it makes sense because her only form of contact was with people online, having her childhood being alone on an island besides her grandpa (now dead), so she never learned how to actually socialize HEARTBREAKING
I will always loathe Hussie for writing JadeDave with the intention of throwing it entirely to the side and just leaving Jade sad and alone. I remember reading HS in the early days and back when JohnJade was the community fave ship before ectobiology was introduced and the moral dilemma that created, I had hope Jade could have a cute nerdy boyfriend, hell, I even thought we were gonna get RoseJade for a while which would've been heaps better than what actually happened.
How many ships did Hussie write with that very same intention…? Roxygen, DirkJake, basically all the pre-retcon ships excluding Rosemary, and even that one is getting screwed with in HS^2, even if Hussie isn’t directly involved there
