The voicework on this one is SO much better than the version in Symphonia! I especially love the growly quality to his voice when he says, "SHINING BIND!". You don't usually get to hear Kratos sound like that. It's AWESOME!
In hindsight, this is the first Tales of Vesperia video I ever watched. Only a decade or so later do I finally get around to looking up other videos of the game.

9 months later ~ Easier way to say it: Zelos and Kratos share the same role in the party as a magic swordsman. Thus they have the same attacks, thus they have the same MS. c:
He left it with Lloyd. This appearance is actually feasable since he did fly away on Derris-Kharlan. Who knows if he happened to bump into Terca-Lumieres?
@TheLeadDog150 you can vs him twice in the 360 version in the 200 man and in the labyrith of memories which can be accessed by going to phareohs craig JUST BEFORE zaude and then going to that guild city after you finish the game go west and youll find a portal this can only be dont on the 2nd playthrough after and if u do zaude before going to the craig gl on another playthrough
Well, sort of. It really is just an Angelic arte, as Mithos isn't in your party and he still does it. One can also assume Colette could do Shining Bind, as she's also an angel, but it's never shown. It's just like how all the angels can do Judgement.
@80sNMusic Kratos, Barbatos, Shizel and Dhaos are all cameo bosses in this game!!! And unlike other tales games, they can be fought several times in the arena!!!
I personally think it would have been cool if they gave him Flamberge as his sword, especially since he has that unique red and black shield from Cruxis (and when fighting you).
@PikohanRevenge and besides: zelos' is cooler looking to be honest (them wingz *w*) funny enough, i never really liked using zleos till recently XD after replaying like 50 or so times

If you are on unknown mode your automatically die by the Mystic Arte
I would say that Shining Bind is Kratos' Mystic Arte, Zelos has a second Mystic Arte that is exclusive to him...
A better delivery than the original for sure. I love it.

I was good to go right after the final boss battle. I think I was around level 85 or something. You'll level very fast once you're in the dungeon.
