Yes, that is mentioned some of what will happen in Revelation, right where we are. Yes, only a Remnant will be saved to go on on the renewal of the earth. It's there and if you read it you will realize it is not hard to work out how far they take us, the Mark of the Beast which is close. God acts after that as said in Revelation. Receiving holy communion on the tongue, on the knees is what we know and practice in Africa, in all of the catholic churches in Nigeria, there are kneelers around the altar for use during communion and prayers. I noticed here in my parish in Canada that I was the only one kneeling and receiving communion on the tongue. It was strange to me at initially.

I don't recall anywhere in the New Testament that a same sex couple approached our blessed Lord with a request to bless their union. It's possible that I missed it, but I don't think so.

The same-sex couple ‘blessing’ causes a number of questions. What is a homosexual couple seeking by asking for a blessing? What is the Church offering in response? What is the Holy Spirit called for and what is exactly being blessed? What is a spiritual purpose of such a ‘blessing’ and what sort of a particular help it intends to provide? Love and acceptance can make miracles of soul transformation, and Pope Francis' vision on the same-sex unions seems to be about love and acceptance. Yet, the same-sex couple blessing would make sense if the Church dumps viewing the same-sex relationship per ser as a sin. Without that, such a 'blessing' appears conflicting and self-contradictory. The entire issue of the homosexuality as such and the sin does not look straightforward at all. For example, some people refer to Leviticus 20:13: "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them". Does this mean that about 4% of human population should be now "put to death"? Would it be a proclaimed Christian way of love and acceptance? Would it be compatible with the words of our Lord: "Let He Who Is Without Sin Cast the First Stone" (John 8:7)? Apostle Paul in 1 Cor 6:9,10 was talking specifically about "men who have sex with men" with the intention to just satisfy their lust, but said nothing about homosexuality as such. The Holy Scripture condemns sexual lust in all its appearances - ‘traditional’ and ‘pervert’, but says nothing at all specifically about homosexuality and same sex people, who want to live together in love and faith. There is only one instance where Jesus displayed anger and reacted with some degree of violence (although we must always remember that he didn't physically hurt anybody), and that was when the merchants were degrading the temple, making His Father's house a marketplace (Jn. 2:15). Jesus drove them out of the temple. Not even when the Jews threw stones at him (Jn. 10:31) nor when he was arrested (Jn. 18:12) did he reacted with such anger. Only when his Father's house was being polluted. Everything he did in front of his apostles was to teach us a lesson. If there is a single circumstance where we are justified to react beyond our hopeful prayers is when His temple is being openly defiled. Today not by merchants selling cattle, sheep, and doves, but insidious ideas that pretend to rewrite his Word, and nothing less that at the very core of the temple.

What is a homosexual couple seeking by asking for a blessing?
What is the Church offering in response?
What is the Holy Spirit called for and what is exactly being blessed?
What is a spiritual purpose of such a ‘blessing’ and what sort of a particular help it intends to provide?
Love and acceptance can make miracles of soul transformation, and Pope Francis' vision on the same-sex unions seems to be about love and acceptance. Yet, the same-sex couple blessing would make sense if the Church dumps viewing the same-sex relationship per ser as a sin. Without that, such a 'blessing' appears conflicting and self-contradictory.
The entire issue of the homosexuality as such and the sin does not look straightforward at all.
For example, some people refer to Leviticus 20:13: "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them". Does this mean that about 4% of human population should be now "put to death"? Would it be a proclaimed Christian way of love and acceptance? Would it be compatible with the words of our Lord: "Let He Who Is Without Sin Cast the First Stone" (John 8:7)?
Apostle Paul in 1 Cor 6:9,10 was talking specifically about "men who have sex with men" with the intention to just satisfy their lust, but said nothing about homosexuality as such.
The Holy Scripture condemns sexual lust in all its appearances - ‘traditional’ and ‘pervert’, but says nothing at all specifically about homosexuality and same sex people, who want to live together in love and faith.
Nevertheless, this unlikely defends the incompatibility of the same-sex couple blessing with the current Church doctrines and policies.

This is QED for the impracticality of Catholicism and existence of priests and bishops. Each church should have its elders but each member responsible for expressing individual gifts. A worship gathering of 100 people should have at least 5 or 10 with the gift of teaching and should teach. Validity of their message should be judged according to compatibility with scripture.
When parishioners defer to priests,

The instruction for the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith is very clear that irregular unions are not to be blessed. A lot of commentary is misrepresenting the instruction. Many people are causing confusion by commentary that is not an accurate reflection of this teaching.

I'd be a lot more concerned about this document if Dr Mazza wasn't obviously right about Benedict's so-called resignation (which he had years to correct if resignation was his intention) and if Cardinal Deneels didn't admit to actions that invalidated the subsequent conclave's result. It's up to everyone in the hierarchy to distance themselves from the ape of the church that AB Sheen and Our Lady warned about but it's also time for the laity to step up and save the church from the worldly ape as AB Sheen said we would have to. Well said, I remember what he said too! We have to be present and prepared to speak to our Priests ourselves. So many are so obviously luke warm on their faith, still stand by a Priest that is prepared to do as the Pope asked of them.
