How ridiculous are humans! The quality of the football is really bad and the whole thing aesthetically bankrupt, yet you have tens of thousands of Homo sapiens turning up to watch the gruesome show. Also, it’s easy to see why televised football was not to catch on until the 1970s and the advent of colour as this game makes for painful, strained viewing.

Back then that was entertaining for people back in the 30s and My Grandad who watched football in the 30s said that was a good decade of football the game was different but it was very competitive His looked at Morden football and said to me if those players from his generation would be playing in the premier league their would all be given red cards now
