It would have been really helpful if you could have stated the growing temperature zones the different grasses will grow in, how large they get and if they are deer resistant. After having watched your video I still don't know which ones will grow in my snowy landscape or if the deer would just make a meal out of them as soon as they were planted.
Nice! Thank you. The purple grass - Pennisetum setaceum rubrum I think we call it is dependably perennial in the Southern hemisphere, acting like the Zebra grass or Miscanthus in winter. It actually needs to be cut down to about 6 inches off the ground when dormant as this encourages healthy new growth in Spring. Chondropetalum tectorum (Cape reed) is actually quite drought tolerant even though it does naturally enjoy permanently moist riverside soil, evergreen and forms a big clump, around 5ft wide and 4ft high. Just tell kids to beware of the needle-like stem tips though - not friendly on eyes.
Thank you for showing plants with their names!!!!!

You can find it on the internet. Most grasses are deer resistant. It gives you that information when you search for different kind on line.
