this is my third time i've been watching thangkul features film (love story)from the biginning till the end looking subtitles without forwarding,its so painfull in heart and really touching my heart....watching with alot of tears😭😭😭
All characters in this movie are great. And, especially the
dialogues has been improved more than we expected. We all know that, cretics and reviews are most important part of the film making after the distribution. so here we would be discussing the overall feedback of the project in order to motivate for the next project.
1) The story of the film would be more better, if the story was not the end. The ending of the story seems to end at the will of the antagonist.
2) Since the antagonist in this film are the protagonist 's mom, it become more like a family film rather than lovestory movie.
3) Character of Arin. She is good. However, her character in this story are quite miserable and ignorant. In this story, she was persuing her master degree. As an educated female, how could she be so obedient and ignorant to her mom(antagonist), despite knowing all her rudeness, stubborness, inequality and evil.
In 21St century's context, almost all women are independent rather than submissive. So when the characters are too submissive, it signifies older version story like aton and ashang which is now far different from today's digital age.
4) character of Arin's mom (antagonist).. Her acting was superb. Her ideology and faith in this story was malicious and evil : that some people could even imitate such ideas in real life. Also such "evil character win over innocent people at the end". And that's not a good idea.
5) Music and sound: music is the greatest part in film. Although this movie has great music, we would like to suggest your team to work more on music.
6)cinematography: it was average. Visual effect, establishing shots, high angle shots, extreme close shots, reaction shots, deep focus shots must be added. It is because most of our movies are being frequently shot at master and medium shot. Also, camera movement like zoom ,Pan, tilt etc.. to utilised perfectly to make the film superb.
7) overall experience : overall it was a good movie. However, it would be more better only if the writer had change its script on last plot. We never care about happy ending or so on.. but ending at the will of antagonist is indeed not a good sign. "Evil cannot reign over Good and innocent people".

And after a long and succeeding run, Meiphung Productions na revival khuikharà thada Tangkhul Cinema li reikasang thik khuirahaira.
Ramna ngatei ngarok haokada, ãkhon ãkhak na limitation thik leingasaksara. Script li shãmlak eina dialogue kapimihaisalala pakashokli, more of a reading rather than an actual conversation hi kachungkha thei Tangkhul Cinema li. No doubt, some are ‘born actors,’ but then practice makes all the difference. Ewui opinion hi worth masalaksamara kha constructive criticism sada, we need to promote more of intuitive dialogue rather than a learned script which makes it more like reading it out aloud. Hi àkhanã li khanganã kazalakka.
Meiphung production did a great job.. new faces zanglakdalei. And hopefully, articulation and eloquence is tremendously anticipated in the coming production.
