*He will lose his job within 6 months.*
Shockingly lucid argument. Totally ignored by the committee.
More like lucid dream
If you want to stay in Committee, you gotta toe their line.
Enuff with DEI and all the other woke BS
Insanity
Guys I think you need to make new institutions. These journals are bankrupt.

These are also at odds with a thriving Democracy
Trust the science
Support this man. His city of waterloo is a cesspool of far left liberal thinking.
Holy f***... apparently all of academia has been huffing paint thinner.
High standards and open debate. What a concept.
I'm now curious as to which one of those papers is the hoax. They all sound ridiculous.
I would place a bet on the conceptual penis.
it was The Conceptual Penis.
The conceptualized… whatsit. It’s a whole (kind of funny) story on its own. They rightly challenged the peer-review/publishing process as not rigorous at all.
Let me know if my previous comment made it. I’m on the heavily-censored list.
@@wiiildfire yes
Very well put, but falling on deaf ears, I'm afraid. I've never heard anyone advocating for discriminatory policies defend their position calmly, with facts and specific observations. I assume Madam Chair is one such person, and I'm a little surprised she didn't start banging the table and chanting some protest rhyme, but she probably wasn't paying attention.
Meanwhile, I'm putting together a proposal to study electronic control architectures using white colonialist strategies versus those of DEI.
I totally agree. The wave of bizarre ideological impositions at the university prevents me from continuing with lifelong learning. Something that motivated me in many aspects of my life. I would like to see the whole business removed and the university return to education rather than indoctrination into whatever fad they've been bribed to impose on students.
I've done a bunch of drugs in my day, and these topics sound about right.
This content gave me flashbacks to my days in education when I was subjected to a ridiculous onslaught of extreme edubabble. These flashbacks are quite disturbing. I see that the edubabble is even worse now that DEI has been added to the putrid stewpot.
Ewwewewewwww.
What?! Canada also has that DEI croap?
Corrupt actor acting like they are not the problem, just like all so-called Authorities, & nobody can stop it nor worse because the majority of people are also too harmed & too corrupt to tell nor stop & become actually reasonable like everyone actually needed from the start & is still needed.
smh
Throw them out? The change here in USA since Nov election has been more rapid and thorough than I could have ever imagined.
The majority of Americans never bought into this nonsense and once the emperor was revealed to have no clothes, the response was immediate.
Sokal and Swift 🗣️
Is this satire?! Conceptual penis?! WTF?!
I spent a term teaching at a "University", funded by the Province which explains a lot, and everything you have read is true. $1,000,000 of taxpayers money to build a "non gender change room". I would have been happier if, as an institute of higher education, the library could answer the phone.
Associate professor has given up on getting tenure.
Cancel this man. He's too logical and ethical.
These “research papers” sound like old school Oxbridge rag week shenanigans.
Twisted science
Down with DEI, up with Meritocracy.
There was also something live 10k papers retracted last year due to integrity issues i believe?
Please explain further!....
Ouch
I also read that ppl are now just throwing their names on peer reviewed papers for the benefit, without having even read it, just for the paper to be complete nonsense
FREEDOM fighter. Thank you
I call down dei in canada in the Almighty name of the creator of man and woman. Jesus Christ.
I couldn't read those titles out loud without laughing.
I hope his message spreads all across Canada and then heads south.
I think we Americans are ahead of the curve. MAGA.
The more we are educated, the less intelligent we become...
Great presentation. I hope the woke realize that we’re on to them and we’ve had enough. It’s their turn to be canceled.
It is just as bad, or worse, in arts funding.
Can we get a link to the full hearing. It would be fascinating to see Liberals and NDP try to justify this.
Which of those so-called 'research papers' was the hoax ?
From the titles, I would think all of them.
Someone said there are 10k retracted papers
I remember applying for scholarships 20+ years ago. This was my experience then, how much worse is it now?
Just follow the Party line, not hard at all.
I need to go listen to some King Missile now...
I was a college professor in physics until recently. I retired early because I was fed up with the far left brainwashing (EDI, climate alarmism, etc )
I took physics in college, recently. I can't even fathom what you're alluding to. Climate change isn't real threat? You sure you were ever qualified to teach about physics? I mean, it's all physics. Science is intersectional, education is intersectional. Our culture and history are relevant to how we act, educators provide insight, put shit together. Dei isn't nefarious, pretending like it is...well that kind of is.
@@GarvotheGreat Lol. I have a PhD in physics, with a computational component. You sound like the typical brainwashed kid.
How and why are there people given authority to award these grants for "works" that are merely WOKE nonsense. Time to take away that authority and that nonsense will stop.
It will take a while I'm afraid.
This is why we are a joke and loosing smart actually educated people daily
We need a DOGE in Canada....now
He's right. All the abstracts sounded exactly like the hoax paper's.
What the hell is even that
"I'm a victim! Now change the whole world!" 👿🤣
I'n not heard so much bull in all my life. What an absolute wste of time these papers are. Folk should be ashamed working on this nonsense.
Thank you for truths sir, keep going the expose’!
Once again the total disconnect of Academia from reality and the common man. A clear example of their so called self delusion of superiority and absolute disregard and contempt for common sense.
And political purpose, Give me your youth and I will control the world.
I wanted to say this exact thing in my feminist class but I needed to pass the class
WHY in God's name would you take a class like that?!
@@Xezlec I was thinking the same thing! How could ANYbody willingly put him/herself through such torture? Ugh!
These students are going to have a rough ride in industry … shareholders care about the money you make them not who you are … you are a cog in a machine
I admire the guy for being able to read the summaries of those BS papers with a calm, steady voice.
Those who either cannot compete love EDI.

Canadians are indigenous/native to Canada.
The correct term is Aboriginal and they were anything but the “First ______” ,
Don’t ever use the subversive terms for Aboriginals
They were literally the first nations after migrating across the baring strait. It's the only accurate term.
@CJH-zx3cp Did your mother drink a lot when she was pregnant with you?
@@CJH-zx3cp they weren’t nations! You’ve been brainwashed.
Cant like this enough.
"Struggle sessions" in practice in Canadian Universities - we've seen all this before... I 'self-selected' out of the system despite have 2 doctorates in very different fields and 3 masters - two of which are in fields diverse from my undergraduate degrees and PhD's... diversity of thinking? No chance if you are male pale and stale - yet I am sure I could have been useful somewhere...?
Wilfred Laurier University seemed like the epicentre of woke ideology when the Lindsay Shepherd controversy erupted in 2017. Some of the faculty now host some amazing speakers on the topic of academic freedom under the Heterodox Academy forum.
Very grateful to this group for pushing back against the insanity.
@@martinliehs2513 Excellent.
I don't think I understood one phrase that was uttered here...
Thanks, suffrage.
All symptoms of the Western cultural and intellectual nervous breakdown.
What is wrong with people that push or support DEI ?
It was one thing then it was about culture war , but this is just destructive.
