I'm so glad I found your channel! Your explanation of the Strength card is very informative and insightful. I'm not an advanced reader by any means. I just wanted to find out why I kept getting signs and sinchros (numbers etc) about a certain person, why did my guides kept doing that, why did they think he is my soulmate etc? I got the Strength card clarified by the 5 of Wands when I did a mini reading for myself. I got the idea that I had the inner strength to handle the truth, to stop struggling with the matter. What do you think? Is that close to the mark for the meaning? Thank you for this video.

Hi to answer your question depends greatly on what you were asking or what the situation was in reference to doing the reading. So within yourself review your intent for the reading and then look at this card and it's meaning for you. How do you feel about the card what do you think about the images. I always feel that although yes there is the "book" meanings which give one layer of understanding your own wisdom and intuition, your relationship with the card especially in reference to the question or reading intent will also guide you and give you great insight to understanding and finding the answer you seek. I encourage you to keep the card around and look at it, meditate on it and see what added Insight comes to you. In addition listen to the recording again about this card and also reflect upon how you feel about that information in reference to what you're asking. For myself whenever I get the strength card in this position I reflect on the angle image harmony with the lion. How its indicating that spiritual grace is in my life especially around the situation and although the situation may be difficult and in part maybe pushing my buttons or may have a relationship to something very fundamental needs based, primal in my life there is beautiful Synergy between spirit and that aspect of my situation. There is strength within needed. As you can see it's not a simple answer so if you would like to have a private reading to look at your situation or to review your learning I offer trainings as well as private readings. OblaDiOblaDa . I recently have had 2 readings where the outcome was strength. Without going into to much detail. the first reading, it was clear that issues were from the mother in her childhood. causing anger and getting in the way of her life and relationships. The other was to do with addiction.... strength as the outcome in both cases was a great card to see. To me it said these negative emotions or desires can be tamed. That inner strength peace grace can be achieved .... As an archetype, I think it's a card that very few people master in everyday life.. I.E. reacting to feelings instead of dealing with them in the right way. hence bad moods anger depression. I hope that was of some help...

Jamie hi I have read numerous explanations on this. All very insightful and of value so I encourage your own exploration of the literature. I also have explored my own interpretation thru meditation and using the Tarot. For me it depends on your resonance with the fools journey. I feel the essence of the Strength card is needed before Justice. However also feel the inter connection of the two always so when 1 is in a reading a part of the other is also. Kira Woods thanks for your reply, The reason I asked was because I have recently been drawn to my second deck (alchemical 4th) and the cards are indeed swapped. Up until now I have used my RWS purely from intuition just looking at the cards, and TH-cam. 😁However with holistic tarot in the post I'm hoping I can delve a little deeper into the tarot....✌️
jamie newberry hi Fabulous! Personally I would go with what feels right for you. I have no issues with the justice card being number 8 in the Arcana. especially when I explored and spent time with the cards in that order and from a spiritual perspective then I could really feel the connection of Justice with the eights. Equally however I feel the strength card fits very well with the eights and resonates there from the Fools Journey. One perhaps from a more in depth inner reflection and message and the other from a balance of the inner and outer. On the other side the justice card also seems to fit so well following the lessons of the Strength card and the interrelationship between the two is perhaps the key. I guess for myself I've thought about is the lesson of strength needed to fully understand Justice as.well as vice a versa so see them so linked in understanding one is always with the other spiritually. Therefore maybe the question of the order is not needed as the card itself shares its wisdom of imporance in the moment and depends on the situation the person etc for understanding. With that said I have found the strength card to be one of the most difficult Major Arcana to fully understand and therefore as you explore and discover your own wisdom and understanding I'd love to hear what Insights come to you. The strength card was amongst the first cards I studied and tried to get a relationship with, obviously in position 8... true strength comes from being able to control the animal instinct inside effortlessly. Then your in a better place to approach justice....? I love my alchemical deck, but I think whilst learning I'm going to stick with RWS for now, especially after thumbing through the brick that is "holistic tarot"....😀
