@@QofyReacts They never said hiatus, it was a mistranslation (official source Hybe).. They are still working both on solo and group projects.. They will just less appear on cameras for interviews or media shows, except their own show Run BTS which will continue.
@@QofyReacts in music industry hiatus doesnt mean break so bts didnt use the word hiatus so its also the wrong word to use. other bands have said hiatus and never came back so bts were careful not to use such words but the translators didnt translate correctly and media ran with the word. namjoon posted a letter on weverse and hes annoyed with media twisting their words.
theyre all releasing solo albums then will come back as a group. starting next month jhope will release his album so its probably not gonna be a long time. maybe 2 years also depends on their military service. but they keep telling us theyre not breaking up and theyre only taking a break from group music not group activities.

Info: According to a statement from Hybe via press, BTS solo projects plan is not a ‘hiatus’ as they will still be working on projects as a group, as well as individually. “BTS are not taking a hiatus. Members will be focusing more on solo projects at this time. J-Hope will release their first solo album in the middle of next month. They are NOT desbanding! Like so many western artists who take some months or years of rest and to find new sources of inspiration and do other projects, after 9 yrs of non stop working, and insane schedules, the boys deserve a break. So there's 7 new solo albuns coming and a new chapter. Jin and Suga are going soon to the army and we just have to wait, serene and happy for them. 💜

They are not disbanding, they said Hiatus/taking a break from BTS music for awhile to work on their solo stuff. They did say they will be getting back together in the future and being BTS again. They just dont say if it will be 1 yr or 5 yrs from now, and we have to throw in the military commitments into the mix, ugh. I am happy they will get to work on their individual projects during this time as well as learning more about themselves as who they are and who they want to be. I know I am both happy and sad at same time which is just hard to deal with for me .....I will support them no matter what Ot7/ARMY forever.
I am older and disabled so very limited income, I have to save up just to buy an album when BTS put one out ever so often, now I gotta figure out how to do that x7. I dont know how , but I will figure it out even if our guys bankrupt me. ugh.
Well I was expecting 1 album but now I'm getting 7. I'm happy. They already have so much music but gotta admit I missed the days where we were swimming in new music. The more I think on this the more I agree with Hobi. This is really needed at this stage. Chapter 2 is gonna be incredible.

In the song Yet to Come , BTS said they start a new chapter so they're not disbanding (it felt like if but nope hopefully) and they're not on a hiatus (Hybe clarified that word "hiatus" was a mistake in the subtitles ). So what does that new charpter mean? BTS said that they spent like more than 10 years (take into account the trainee years) and these last years they were focusing a lot on the group activities (because their popularity has skyrocketed) so because of that they barely had the time to work on their individual projects , and they also need time to work on themselves as an individual person. They said everyone of them need to find who they really want to be and what kind of things they want to show to their fans. One need to find oneself so that one could bring something better for the group. They said they all need to go through that way to comeback as a stronger, better BTS. That's why from now on they will focus first on their Solos but ☝no worries armys, they still work on the group future projects. SO they're not disbanding or on a hiatus in the industry (They're hardworking KINGS) . Think about that: we're gonna have, not a mixtape but a full ALBUM from everyone of them, isn't that cool? I'm soooo hyped for JK, Tae, Jimin, Jin, j-hope, AgustD, RM !! Think about how j-hope is the first one starting his solo projects with his performance at Lollapalooza !!!

They are not disband, but temporary hiatus (in music group term). But they say they still continue their variety show as BTS (run BTS). For music, they will focus for solo project and some sub unit projects. They will comeback as whole group again someday. But we didnt know for how long we will wait for BTS to comeback :( maybe for 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, 5 years or longer than that 😭😭😭😭

Disbanding is like there will no BTS anymore. There is and will always be. Not also a hiatus sincr BTS will still have group activities. They may not 'perform' as a group at the moment to focus on their solo music careers. But as a group they will still have other commitments like Run! BTS the variety show that is really close to their hearts. And others. Maybe in terms of music, they will release solo albums for us, for armys, for fans, for everyone. Like imagine how ghe charts will go insane if all of them, 7 of them are figjting for the #1 spot 😆 i was so sad after watching the festa but i just wanna be positive for them. They are not disbanding, Jin have to fulfill his 18 month millitary duty as all able body male South Korean. Hence BTS have to temporarily concentrate on their solo careers, they promise to come back as full 7 members once all of them have done their millitary duties.

They’re neither taking hiatus nor disbanding actually.
They’ll continue with group projects but will just focus more on releasing their solo albums than groups new songs like Jhope’s solo album is rumoured to release in middle of next month.
Hiatus would’ve been ceasing their group activities entirely for time being but looks like that is not the case.

Neither disbanding nor taking a hiatus. They are just going to focus on some individual creative journey but will still have group activities. Both the boys and their label clarified the misunderstanding.

Jungkook went live a few hours ago to clarify and clear the disbandment rumor that so many media platforms have been spreading...in his words he said "First of all, we(BTS) still have a lot of group schedule to do. We don't have any thoughts of disbandment. BTS will be forever". To get a better understanding of their direction as a group, if you are interested ,I suggest you watch(either on your own or react to it on the channel) their 2020 Festa Dinner. It's an hour long video where they had a very genuine and heartfelt talk among themselves and to ARMYs as to what direction they are takin as a group and why they are taking that direction. It was a heartbreaking experience for me as it was my first Festa as a fan...they were going through so much but they bottled things up because they didn't want to disappoint us, but on that dinner they opened up so much.

there was a lot of commotion and confusion yesterday, maybe because of a bad edition or a bad translation, in the English and Spanish translation Jk said I quote "We're each going to take some time to have fun and experience lots of things We Promise we Will return sometime Even more Matute than we are now. So I hope You Could give us your blessing " for anyone who doesn't speak korean the message that was given in the translation is that they were going to be on a break from the group (not Disband but a break) and there were several points referring to this pause, of course it caused a stir among ARMY after Hybe made a statement that this had been a misinterpretation and a mistranslation.

Even RM released a letter regarding how outsider misconstrued their words from the video that was only for army. The guy sound pissed. Even JK had a vlive yesterday to clarify that no. 1 they are not in hiatus as a grp and 2 never had any thoughts of disbanding (he said they doing alot of grp activities such as BTS run). Please stop applying the western mentality to the boys. Never they even said they having a break as a grp moreso they just focusing more on their individual works while still doing grp works. They are absolutly not disbanding, they are first will release their solos projects in order and for the first time with full promos and physical albums versions (their previous mixtapes wasn't promoted a lot, wasn't available on korean platforms and hadn't any physical versions). Second, they will continue to work as group, musically without being on but off that why they talked about just a break on cameras.
