I've bought 3 pieces of Vermeer haying equipment to replace ours last year and have been nothing but pleased. The only thing stopping me from replacing out processor with yours is the fact that Vermeer does not offer a grain tank on their unit. Any idea when (if) you'll be coming with one?
Awesome machine. Ground up that bale in no time. However what about the plastic wrap. Aren't you worried about the cattle eating the plastic and the string that holds the bale together. Seems like a bad idea.
What's the processing time for this fine cut machine compared to a normal machine. On my bp8000 I average 2 min per bale and have been told fine cut can add 1 maybe even 2 min to processing time
Tracy , We are a dealer in WI. We have timed machines as fast as 1 min with 1500 Lbs Dry bales 6X5. These FPX machines perform extremely well. The BPX machines do seem to process faster than the previous BP design as well.
@ a lot of it gets caught in the rollers but alot of it is cut and thrown out with the feed. been making hay for 40 years and have never seen one that doesn't cut the wrap.
How does it work with Sylage bales

They wrap around the central shift and can be removed later.
