Wonderful, insightful, and troubling talk. When it comes to the tools that our species is able to create, our species does tend to quickly make things which can do a lot of harm. Some peeps even benefit from this as harm, e.g., acts which exploit people, enables a lucrative market. With that said, our ethicists then have to power struggle to contain these tools. And, yet, there will always be those who do not heed what the ethicists have worked so hard in enlightening us towards, as in, of our harmful behaviours and of how we can evolve towards impeding these. I do not look forward to when tyrants and rogue harmful peeps have access to and know how to employ the tools which underly AI.
