How to Change your Background on Zoom

- Learn how to set a virtual background in Zoom. To set a virtual background, click on the carrot icon next to Video and select Virtual Background. Next click on the + icon and upload a photo or video. You can then select this as your virtual background. Enjoy!

Hey Mr. Kevin, I would like to ask a question wether there is an option for removing the background altogether. I'm doing this so that I can have powerpoint presentations behind me while I appear a mini on top of it at a corner. Any ideas how I may do that?

This was an interesting tour of backgrounds, but did not explain how to set a virtual background created by the user..........the size requirements, green screen, etc.

This may sound like a silly question but it is real to me. I don't have a camera on my PC. Sound is fine but no camera. It appears you need to have a camera in order to change the background. I would hope I could pick a good background so there would be something to look at unless those with no camera have been hidden. Got any help on how this might be done?
Help! So i have zoom app on my laptop i changed to virtual background and it worked but now when I join a meeting it disappeared and only give me option to blur or not to blur. What am i doing wrong?…. Thank you!!!!

Hit the + symbol and add whatever image you wish.
If I wish to upload a video background, must be light vídeo file? (example less then 1MB and up to 1080p) or less resolution?

Have you tried the "check box" named: "Mirror my video" right under the Virtual Background options?

My zoom only has 2 default backgrounds
The Golden Gate bridge photo was taken at SunSET, not Sunrise!!! The sun still rises in the East and sets in the West, unless you live on Planet Zoom.

Zoom considers my computer's CPU is not good enough to load a virtual background without a physical green screen, which is frustrating because it works just fine in Webex…
