A lot of the punk and off beat elements remind me Deerhunter's first album.
This could be a lot more chaotic and distorted while maintaining accessibility. This stands out in the final repetition/crescendo of "overstimulated". Once the wall of sounds gives way, I don't hear the overstimulation in the vocal. If only in one place do I expect a more guttural/primal/tearing scream of the word.
I'll have to suss out Deerhunter - but yeah I'm still just beginning to get into more distorted / fucked up sounds, I definitely wanna try and take things further soon
