If the Americans arent feeling 100%.. I think it would definitely serve them well to play conservatively against Josh. Josh is a God offensively but he doesnt move that well defensively. Not like Albin or Sky or Shane. They should really take advantage of that. As good as Sky shoots I think he moves even better defensively. And if you dont think that's a big deal then you dont know pool that well. It is an Ace up his sleeve. Guys like Josh and even Dennis.. they like to get out from anywhere and run like the wind, and they sure will if you let em. You gotta slow em down and make em kick. Frustrate em a little bit. I watched Skyler beat Denise that way. That's what you gotta do to Josh as well Imo. They can win either way but that's the easier path if you ask me.
Those side pockets, even beyond the fact of their smaller openings, look to me like the jaws are more parallel than normal, and that would definitely make them reject balls that they normally wouldn't. Backing up the shelf compounds that. The push call was funny, the other one that prompted it was not.
2:36 I know Shane was not playing to pocket the 9 ball but I cannot work out exactly what he was trying to do. Unless he was attempting the direct bank on the 2 ball into the same pocket, if the 9 ball had stayed up on the shot he played then it left an easy combination shot on for the European player to follow.
I am in the UK so have more of a snooker background where the tendency is to aim for the centre of the pocket, but if the 9 ball had not been there and the 2 ball had hit the rail at around the centre diamond, do you think that it would still have made the pocket? That is why I was not totally sure if Shane went for the bank, considering how far the diamond rail is from the pocket. Or maybe he just played it badly but just got lucky.
@@seanscanlon9067 it would have been nowhere near at that angle. The furthest he could have hit the rail is halfway between the pocket and the closest diamond. He just completely missed the bank, and got really lucky.

Earle gonna complain and ruin the other players attitudes and Chris will choke....at least he didn't bring Joey gray back...who???
