I wish I was like Sanette. I'm 22 now, I too was very chubby since my childhood till a year ago. All my life people called me with different names like Mota Bhai, hathi ka baccha, Gainda, Hippo, Bhaisa-Sur, Double XL, Gattu Kaka (character from a TV show Baa Bahu aur Baby), Gian (Doraemon), the latest name were Montu & Bada Bheem. These names didn't affected me till 12 or 13 but once I was was dancing in some relatives wedding & while dancing I noticed everyone around me was laughing bas uss din to dil toot gya & it affected me a lot & I stopped going to weddings, birthday parties or anywhere except school. My parents alaways encouraged me but lagta tha inka to me baccha hu inko thodi me funny or ugly lagunga. And last year I decided bhai ab to weight lose karne hi hai so from from 103 to now 71. I 'm more confident now than ever before & this is how our society is.

I learned: By not eating anything that tastes sweet, made with white flour (such as bread, bagels, pizza, etc), and walking everyday, eating vegetables with little rice/bread one could lose weight. Sugar is a slow poison, fruit juices is all fructose which is not good. Eating whole fruit is ok, because of fiber.
As for skin, when exposed to daily sun it burns and becomes permanently dark, if you look at face and covered areas, you see big differences as though a different person.

I also learned that sunshine is necessary for the skin to produce Vitamin D3, the amount of sunshine on skin needed depends on how dark the skin is, the darker the longer. I am not recommending anything, just wrote what I learned, see your healthcare provider for recoomendations.

Bharat has centuries old culture. Lots of invasions and attack happened to change it. But it didn't changed, only reformations happened overtime. And after internet era, western influences has put a dent in the culture. Still there are thousands of different cultures, religious beliefs in India and they live happily in diversity. Which European and Western countries can't comprehend easily and are always confused.

Vahi ager foreign main dekhoge toh unke bahut si gf ho chuki hoti hai vo sab kar chuke hote hai bahut baar toh unke liye liye ye sab normal hota hai.
Like mera ak dost hai toh usne bataya ki group main teacher ne kuch bataya tha toh maine kaha group main ladkiya bhi hongi aur unka phone no. Hoga koi bhi baat kar sakta hoga. Toh usne kaha ye sab normal hai aaj kal tum tumhare jamane se bahar aao aajkal phone pe baat karna hand shake karna gale milna ye sab normal hai.
