  • When Stephanie Collazo says the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Program changed her life, she means it. ⭐️
Thanks to a push from her School Resource Officer-turned-“Deputy Dad” Master Deputy Phil Engstrom, tough love from former Program Coordinator Awilda McBryde and support from countless others at OCSO who motivated and mentored her, in just three years, Stephanie transformed from a self-described “really bad kid” who hated the police to our highest-ranking Explorer who can’t wait to be a law enforcement officer herself.
*** Do you know a kid age 12 to 20 who might want to learn about law enforcement through our Explorer Program? Find out more at ocso.com/explorers
